So.. anyone here play any MMORPG's?

I play FFXI and Runescape.

On FFXI I'm Korthos the Galka and Sphlane the Taru on the Ramuh server.

On Runescape I'm Lord Shplane (Bet you didn't see that coming.)

So.. anyone else?

Heh... I used to play a few. Everquest, EVE Online, Anarchy Online, Vendetta Online, Earth and Beyond, Ragnarok Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and finally World of Warcraft. I played for a few months only to eventually find them boring (except for StarWars Galaxies before they took away the hybrid profession system and put in the "iconic" version...). I'm tempted to go back to EVE Online, but the thought of losing my ship to gate campers tends to make me stay away.

I avoid any MMOs which cost money. Not worth it to pay a monthly fee on something I'll only play for a month before I get bored of it.

I used to play FFXI, however I found it hard to get into as I was expecting another FFX or something... Though it was novel for awhile, then I gave it up.

I tried Runescape, but it rapes my eyes. It's just MSPaint animated. But the only fun part in it is 'The Wild' or whatever its called, where you can fight other players. Just waiting for some idiot to come in and killing them was a great stress reliever...

But now I solely play Maple Story. It grows boring after awhile, but if you can hit level 30, things start getting interesting. Currently a Level 40 Ice / Lightning Wizard named Issaru on Windia. ^_^

I only really play Runescape because a friend of mine plays it. That and it's free.

I play AO (Anarchy Online).

I'm a Ragnarok person meself.

if only, my crappy internet doesn't like them. not that it's slow, just stupid.

i used to play wow, but then i just got tired off it and i don't want to pay money for that expansion pack(soon to be packs)

Used to play EQ, Planetside, Guild Wars, WoW, and City of heroes. I currently play COH, and 9 Dragons. I try not to spend too much time on MMO's. They take away time i'd usually use for drawing.

I bounce around a lot. I think I've given most of them a try. I did the Station Access Pass for a month so I could find out if I liked any of the Sony MMOs. Matrix Online was a lot more fun than I expected. The only one I ever got into with any longevity was CoH, though. But I've never really played them like I have other games, because I just can't justify putting all that time into a game that doesn't have an actual end, so I usually just play something offline.

One of the problems with these things is that whether you're better than the next guy is not dependent on skill, but rather on the time and money you've spent playing the game. Amirite or is there skill?

There's some skill involved, not much though. I don't really play it to prove that I'm better than someone though, I just play to have fun, so whether skill is involved or not is irrelevent to me.

I play Runescape. Mainly because that is the only MMORPG that can play on my computer. Also it doesn't require downloading so browser based+3D + Massive = awsome.

Just because it's graphics arn't as good as most ones now doesn't mean it's bad.

Big CoH fan here, normally on Protector playing as the Masked Slacker. Im also considering Tabula Rasa, though Im gonna wait to see if an active role playing community develops there, if it does, its gonna be TR for me.

I'm into Guild Wars and recently got Nightfall.

I'm interested in Vangaurd though!

I used to play RuneScape, cuz a bunch of the kids at the camp I went to were talking about it NON STOP, so I joined, and then got bored of it. Now I play Maple Story, which has pretty much EVERYTHING and is 99% free, as the only thing that costs money is the Cash shop things, which are for the most part appearel only.

I used to play world of warcraft... but that got boring after... an hour into the game... I still occasionally go on but never for long...

then there was ferentus. glitchiest damn thing I ever did see...

so now it's sherwood and runescape. my favourite, though, is runescape... I'm mothra23:P

Still playing Eve Online. Brilliant game if you can take it. Personally I have stolen 30 ships including a carrier as part of a spy job on an enemy alliance. Good god that game is harsh.

When I hurt my hand, I got a crapload of time off work and nothing to do, so I got hooked on World of Warcraft since I had the free trial that came with the recent South Park dvd set. I play a few chars randomly: two Alliance on Mok'Nathal PvE server (Draenei hunter and Night Elf druid) and two Horde on Black Dragonflight PvP server (Tauren shaman and Troll mage). Its certainly taken up that boring, lonely chunk of my daily life that suddenly increased recently. T-T

I once played EVE Online. bloody beautiful game. I used to like warping or whatever it was that you did while flying around because the grafiks were just so sweet. But then I noticed that playing games like that meant not having time for anything else.
