Apparently they may order more episodes based on the results of the web poll, although 4 have been done already.
Personally I found this hilarious. It's sort of Venture-Brothers-y, and there is some great comedic timing. David Hyde Pierce makes a wonderful Emperor Zombie. :) The animation is a bit cheap (lots of non-moving panels with mouth animation) which creates an unintentionally(?) ironic scene between Abraham Lincoln and Screw On Head... but really a very enjoyable cartoon.

Mike Mignola's Amazing Screw On Head... animated!

"You know what I'm going to do now? I'm going to smoke you."
It would be mind-blowingly awesome if this got on the air. Mignola's style translates well to animation, and, frankly, the show is too hilarious not to garner ratings. (Not only in the very obvious "punchline" sense, but also in the general absurdity of the thing. I didn't know Lincoln signed the Homestead Act to probe the West for dangerous relics from ancient civilizations past...)
And, of course, the voice acting was a cut above. This show needs to see the light of primetime (even if it gets cancelled after one season).

This looks good! I only saw the first couple of minutes, though. I haven't seen the funny yet. Also, I hope they explain why those people can have automatic/semi-automatic guns in the late 1800's.

Hellboy did get picked up; they're just doing the animation style differently, and it's not going to be on Sci-Fi (as far as I'm aware, at least)

That was AWESOME! Everyone should fill out the survey in favor of this show.

Yeah, the Hellboy cartoons are going straight to DVD or something. There's a production blog for it somewhere where they post backgrounds and information about it.
The only thing I didn't like about ASOH was that the main character wasn't very strong. :( He constantly got his scenes stolen, it seemed like his job was to say patriotic things and get smashed around. I didn't get nearly as good a sense of him as I did for Emperor Zombie, or even Patience. I'm not sure if it's because his voice actor sounds kind of wimpy or if it's just a writing thing... but I'd hope in future episodes they make him a bit stronger.

I really liked that cartoon. I mean, it was funny, original, and absurd. I'd love to see it get on TV.

Tater Salad
This could be the first thing I've cared about on the Sci-Fi channel since MST3K.
Nothing on the Sci-Fi channel will ever surpass MST3K. But this'll do, for now.

Its going to be on the WB from what I've heard.
Also the screw on head thing wasn't great. I'd prefer more crappy episodes of the space thing. Its vulgar jokes appeal to my interests.
