I wonder if this thread will actually take-off. So anywho since many DD'ers have a Wii, I thought it would be fun to post your Miis.

Here's mine:

I guess you can also post your friend code if you want.

I don't have a Wii(I'm getting one soon), but from what I understand, it is a customized character you create for "Wii Sports", which comes with the Wii.

...Right?

I'm not surprised.
As so as you do get one, I'm cutting it off.
Snip, snip ;)

It's a bit more than that. A Mii is your generic user-profile for whatever game chooses to optimize the feature (which is pretty much just Nintendo titles thus far). They appear as your avatar in games like Wii Sports and Wii play, but also come into play in games like Warioware, where the mii is mostly just your user profile, but occasionally gets integrated into actual gameplay.

There are plans to integrate miis into games like Animal Crossing or a wii-exclusive version of The Sims, but other than being a neat little customizable aspect of some games, there's really not much to them.

Pretty much, but creating a Mii takes all of 5 minutes, and it's a free function of the wii, so there's no real reason not to do it.

Blargh! I'd post a photo if I could. No camera.
I hope we get more games that use Miis in the future. They're a cool concept. :3
