What? A TEEN story? From me? Yup!

Michael ended up being an unexpected hit when I wrote it several years back. I mean considering that I haven't been in High School for 20 years...I seemed to be able to connect with the younger audience.

The premise?

Michael has enjoyed a nearly human appearance for fifteen years, it has allowed him and his parents to circumvent the unspoken segregation that occurs between human and gemue kids. He is starting High School with a confidence level most Freshmen don't enjoy, a group of good friends, and popularity based on a false sense of security.

But what happens when his sharkmue DNA doesn't stay dormant? Michael is faced with this very dillema when puberty reveals what he and his family have been hiding.

The run won't actually start until A Fickle Fickle World is Done (I have learned my lesson with trying to do more than three comics at the same time! Two long term projects and a short comic are about all I can handle!) HEE!

For now enjoy the teaser cover! This will be hand drawn...all in pencils...as a challenge to myself to work details in pencil! I hope it is worth it! LOL!

Okay I have set up the first five pages and have set up a chapter title page...the run will officially start January 1st, with the first comic page appearing Friday the 4th of January. Sounds like a long time away doesn't it? Only Six weeks...Now I only need to get FFW done by then!

Okay, I've thought about it, and six weeks is a really long time between postings. In order to give you guys an idea of what we're dealing with here, I've decided to fill the next six weeks with concept pictures and fillers from the several Michael stories I have done or am still in work on.

The first will air on November 27th and they will run every two weeks on Tuesday until the first. I only have limited access to my pics, and I know I have more Michael drawings than I've posted, so I may add in between. If I do I will announce it here!

So for now enjoy the fillers! Thank you for the kind comments so far!

The actual run of the comic will begin on the 1st of January and the first comic page will air on the 4th of January and will run every Friday from there! Check it out and let me know what you think!

You may see a shift in style around mid-year, I will not have a scanner available to me and I may have to switch to tablet work...I don't want to really...but it may be a reality! Unless of course I can find a reasonable full page pocket scanner I can carry with me. We'll have to see...

Turns out the infected soul is a member of his sophomore class...The last thing he wants to do is to be connected to the idea that he's immune and why...and if anyone would figure it out, it would be his peers!
