Your comic isn't there anymore, it's just one of those holding/squating pages used for advertising junk links right now...? Maybe that's why they're blocking it?

Like, 2/3 of the internet is blocked. From school, I can't access my comic, either. Nor can I access anything that isn't school/research related in some way. Including my email. -_-
I remember one time trying to look up the lyrics for "Happiness is a warm gun" for a school project and I couldn't because it was blocked for "weapons." Another time I saw a site blocked for "humour."

My school made all of the computers display in only 16 colors, so even if you did somehow get around all their blocks and find pornography, it was as unenjoyable as possible.

Most filtering software that schools use just pick up on certain keywords and block accordingly. You'll find a lot of comic sites are blocked.
Also, New Brunswick almost definitely has nothing to do with the blocking. This kind of thing is done purely on a school basis, any school using the same software will block it.
Also, as Ozone already pointed out, your site is just a squatting page.

His site was never blocked.

It's back up at his web address now, but I think the real story was that he had trouble with his own host and they took it down, or his index page went missing or something.
In either case, when he posted this thread and for weeks after there was no site to block.

Turned out my stupid host took the site down for now apparent reason, then put it back up... at the time my only internet access was a public access spot located in a school.

Somehow, though, while living in a cabin in the woods, I managed to draw about 50 pages :)

and there's more coming soon.... in about 15 pages or so, a major character is going to be MURDERED!

and it will all happen just so jake can scream his enemy's last name...

My comic has been made illegal in 82 countries as well as three US states and Western Australia. So far six people have been put to death for looking at it.

It's been blocked because of some stray word that deeply offended the super site blocker.

I actually remember when I was in art class, someone was using the teacher's computer to look up some pictures to draw. And they looked up 'giraffe reference' and EVERYTHING was blocked because of 'nudity'. It even came up in a big red screen with big black letters. Whatever came up must have been REALLY kinky, or there were (heaven forbid) naked giraffes.

-It turned out that his site provider simply stopped hosting his site, Evilhare didn't realise his site had gone and mistakenly thought the ISP he was using had blocked it.
