Sooo recently, Knux suggested I do a traditional marker coloring tutorial. XD I figured before I went about doing this I'd see if there was any interest. I was going to make some tutorials or maybe do it 'class' style starting out with small basic drawings and moving to more detailed works/fuller and a variety of other materials/effects, more detailed backgrounds, etc. I guess there would be a weekly or bi-weekly assignment, and I would give feedback/critique to all the class members. If anyone is interested, I will be glad to try it out. But I'm no great turotialist or art maker, and I'm not guaranteeing to teach the 'right way' more than give pointers and show how I do things personally. To give you an idea of what I can do, here are some examples.

Well, that's what copy machines are for :3 I'll talk about this some when I start hte class. XD I guess it'll start with a general overview of what is needed and tips/tricks for getting started.

Ohhhh..o_- A few hours? I usually sketch something and ink it in one day, then work on another piece of artwork (digital, usually), then come back and finish coloring the inked lineart the next day. I have to take a break to think about hte color composition and so forth. But I don't spend LOADS of time coloring something =_=; I'm not patient enough, I suppose.

Well :3 I guess I'll start drafting a lesson plans and notes for the class then XD I don't know if I should start a new thread for the actual class or not, though? I was planning on starting a new thread and 'reserving' the first few posts so I could make it all organized, but I know double posting is frowned upon and all >_>;;;...I dunno. What does everyone think? Moderators, if you see this, please feel free to respond. XD

Go ahead and start a new post and reserve the first few posts (which I'd assume means writing it in advance and then copy/pasting it in pieces or something) :) It's different when it's a tutorial thread.

We're not quite so strict about double posting here either :) Just when someone does it excessively really.

Excellent then :D I also hope this class-tutorial can be mentioned on the front page. I guess I should request that in the newspost area as well when I finish. :)
