Any type you want to read in particular, or you want to avoid?

Monster is pretty good, although I've seen more of the tv serie than I read, but the two seems pretty much the same, except a better artwork in book form.

I've got some;

Otomegatari(trust me) http://www.mangafox.com/manga/otoyomegatari/
Detroit metal city(hilarious)
Onani master kurosawa(mature manga about bullying and a main character that masturbates in the girls bathroom)
GANTZ(mature)
BECK
Solanin
Bakuman
To Aru Kagaku no Rail gun
Bambino(about cooking, awesome)
Oishinbo(also cooking)

Top 5 tend to be liked, bottom 5 can be harder to get into.

I second that; and if you find that you *really* like it, there's a live action version of it, too :P

My comic is a shonen manga hybrid. If you like popular shonens like Dragonball Z or Bleach you would probably like Wakon Yosai.

Just finished a great one called Saturn Apartments. but it's not my typical read, I tend to read a more realistic stuff.
I'd really recommend Solanin by Inio Asano, as well as his other series, What Wonderful World.

Also if you can find his stuff look at Yoshihiro Tatsumi. He was a major artist in an alternative manga style called Gekiga, and was major inspiration for my own short stories. I'd recommend his short story books (The Push Man, Goodbye, and Abandon the Old in Tokayo), his most recently translated works (A Drifting Life, and Black Blizzard) are okay but aren't his best work.
Oddly enough, I've usually found his books in with the western graphic novels. Might just be because his work is pretty different.

I honestly do not read a lot of manga unless it really, really catches my eye...seeing as how so many of them come in like a gazillion volumes. Therefore, I cannot really reccomend anything besides Clover (which I doubt you'd like but you may), Deadfingers by Peipei (which you probably are already watching), or my own comic, which is not even up yet.

So some help I am, huh? T.T *flops in and fails*

If you're desperate for manga, just do an amazon search for manga and preview them, or do the same here for DD. Then you can choose the ones you like for yourself.

Deadfingers isn't really a manga.

But thanks. I guess I got some reading to do.

My top two are JoJo's Bizarre Adventure (if you want to read the whole thing you'll need to find it online.) and Fairy Tail.

I think the best manga ever produced is Lone Wolf & Cub. It's almost a manual on how to do decompressed comics and pull it off correctly. It also has some of the best comic book art to ever come out of Japan.

Another good choice is Barefoot Gen. It's an autobiographical account from a survivor of the Hiroshima bombing. You can probably guess that it's quite a downer, but it's a powerfully emotional story and very much worth reading.

Osamu Tezuka's Buddha is also a great choice. It's a historical fiction surrounding the life and works of the religious reader. However, it also delves into the lives of the fictional characters that interact with the Buddha. It's a good, layered story that has some of Tezuka's best art.

Bat-Manga is also worth a look. It's not the best manga in the world, but it is interesting to see what a Japanese cartoonist does with one of America's most well-known comic book properties. This material was originally published in the wake of the campy and popular Adam West TV show, so it's sort of a Japanese spin on that program.

I haven't read Pluto, but from what I've heard it's the best manga currently being published.

It probably is. Naomi Urasawa is God.

(And I'm just using the word "probably" here because I don't read many mangas, and wouldn't know if currently there was something better. But I can assure you, PLUTO is great.)

How did Naomi manage to use Astroy Boy IP for his own manga? Has Astro Boy become open source or something?

If it has, I credit Japan for being so open-minded.

Did I write Naomi? Yes, I wrote Naomi! How embarrassing - should have been NaoKi. He's a guy.

But to answer your question: he has a quite singular deal with Tezuka's son, the heir to the Empire, to speak in Inception's terms :P And speaking of Christopher Nolan: Urasawa might have gotten this deal only because he currently seems to be to manga what Nolan is to Hollywood (something vaguely described by the term "God", which I'm pretty sure I already used in my last post).

The only manga I read nowadays is Yotsuba&! which is basically just about a little girl and her dad and the people next door. It's just cute little stories, but also enjoyable to read. And you can get it online! http://4chan.biz/ [4chan.biz] (I know it looks like 4chan, I think it's where they got their name.)

The only published manga i read are Naruto & Bleach. Actually those are the only ones available in India.

However I would say you have to read Shadow Sprinters , Shinigami Odin & Myo Min Myo. All three are Amazing web mangas, brilliantly illustrated & great stories. I have my own manga so you can read that if ya like too. ;)
