Anyone else a fan of this show? Anyone heard of it? It's written by Tony Robinson, aka Baldrick from Blackadder. And he plays the Sheriff of Nottingham.

I recently was watching this outtake of it, and i think it's really funny and also really cute! Its' from the show, which is a parody of the Robin Hood stories, where Maid Marian is the leader of the gang and Robin is a vain, cowardly, meterosexual yuppie. Tony Robinson is the writer, and the Sheriff. (aka, Baldrick from Blackadder). He's got two henchmen, Gary and Graeme. The other merry men are Rabies, strong tall idiot, Little Ron, violent midget, and Barrington, rastafarian. (played by Danny John Jules, aka Cat from Red Dwarf).
It's a parody, a musical (they randomly burst into song) a satire, has maaany historical anacrhonisms...
but yeah, i just love this out take!
He's supposed to be saying "There you are! I've saved you from certain death at the hands of Robin Hood!"
then Gary is supposed to say "Thank you very much sire! Now can you save us from certain death at the hands of King John?"

I remember this from years back, it had mud farming peasants and was generally unpleasant. great fun to watch though.

I vaguely remember it. I was about four years old back then, so I don't think I remember anything well that stuck out back then. All I can recall is the fact it was shown on the BBC.

well, it's good to watch as an adult or teenager too. :)
