One Piece it is a good series to watch. Also you can read the manga in Shonen Jump.

Usopp is awesomeness onna stick! In fact, all of One Piece is condensed awesomeness.
I love how the show managed to take the silly parts and the serious parts and put them together and come up with a show that seems coherent, despite breaking the serious mood with dorky humour every now and then.
Also? On the topic of awesome characters - Franky? Has a refridgerator in his stomach.

I always thought One Piece comic's storyline is too simple for my taste and I quit reading One Piece after 10 volumes. But after watching this anime, now you make me want to go back and reread the comic from scratch.
