He shot Locke in the back, and you just can't trust a guy like that - no matter what his intentions.

I don't trust that man at all. I'm surprised they didn't shoot him twenty episodes ago.

the thing is though, Ben even with the appearance of him being evil, I don't think its that black and white. I get this feeling he is going to turn into a anti-hero of sorts. but I have been wrong several times before with this show!

I can see them doing that. The writers have the tendency of painting a picture of a character and then turning it around like that. So we are seeing Ben as a super-evil character right now, but in fact he may actually be the most innocent of them all. Who knows! lol!

Yeah, they sure like turning the tables on you. I previously had no gripes with Juliet, but I want to punch her now.

I'm really let down about the futures of all these survivors. If their lives are going to suck so bad, why even make it off the island? The thing I'm noticing is that these flash-forwards aren't in chronological order, so it's hard to tell if some characters end up happy or a complete wreck.

I've been hoping the casket-viewing that Jack went to was Ben's. It feels like that flash-forward was one of the furthest in the future, so I guess it's a possibility.

If you notice -- Jack was in a black community... so my guess would be that a black person was inside that casket.

I don't think Ben's going to end up innocent, but he's certainly going to end up in a grey area...
I can't imagine Sayid agreeing to work with him in the future if that wasn't the case. I mean, he's killing people on behalf of Ben, so there must be something about Ben's side worth killing for.

Sawyer - I guess it's possible. But you'd think Kate would be more interested.
Locke - I doubt he leaves the island.
Ben - It's possible he has died by then.
Vincent - you never know.

Now that I think about it this season was really good though. I have my complaints it had some really strong episodes.

What about Rose? If she got back, she would have died from cancer.

That's true, but I think Jack might have claimed her as friend. And I hope it isn't Rose. We only get 1 more of the "Oceanic 6", so if Rose does come back, Bernard won't come with her.

It's a little repetitive, and the characters' personalities are very stereotypical.

I can see you thinking that by only watching the first two seasons. I was tired of all the drama and soap-opera crap by then. I think the show lost a lot of viewers after the second season like you. But if you stick with it and keep watching it, it gets a lot more interesting. ...I mean a lot. Typical of JJ Abrams shows; he likes to make you comfortable and then WHAP! Knock you right in the teeth.

I think you're right. I was getting pretty sick of whole plots about which guy Kate ends up with, and unimportant flashbacks like what Jack's tattoo means. Luckily I think the writers wised up a little bit.

Maybe we will find out about what (guy on the boats) is doing on the boat. Why did he change his name? And where is (guy on the boats son)? (can't really type the spoler code on my iPods small screen.) I guess I was half right about the next oceanic six. I liked how the writers made you think that the stories were together, even thoth they were in different times. What really made things strange was when (that one guy) was in the toy store, but they had toys that came out in 2007, when the (that one guy) storyline was actually in the past (I notice stuff like that) can't wait for tonights episode. Any thoughts?
Btw: is the bet thing still on, I mean, two or three of us were only half right, and such.

Did they have a new episode last night? I get my new episodes from iTunes (i don't have cable), and they didn't have a new one, which I thought was odd. iTunes is usually pretty good with updating the new episodes.

Remember how back in the beginning of season 3, when Kate objected to Tom watching as she changes into that cute dress, he said:
"Hahaha, you're not my type, Kate"
At first, I thought it was a bit far-fetched. How could she not be anybody's type ;) Now we have the reason why served on a silver plate :)

I guess it's old news to some, but I'm not very observant :)

One month is actually good for me...I'm making my husband watch the show so he can be a LOST fanatic like me, heh. So far he's gotten through two and a half seasons, up to where Juliet and Jack make it back to the beach and Desmond has flashes of Charlie dying. It's hard not to spill out details to him of what's coming up.

okay, question: Michael can not die because he "made the Honor Roll".

But I think it's the latter.

Maybe it's Jacob who tells them what names to put on the lists.
