FFVII was probably my longest, as well. Spent a little over two days on that one. Had to take a few breaks to eat, but I did't sleep during that time. I'm not as dedicated to gaming as I am to my schoolwork, so I can stay up for periods longer than that, I just usually won't for a game.

Stay up for insane amount of time to play a game? I've never done that. I like games and all, but I like my sleep even more.

36 hours, playing battlefield 1942, unreal tournament, and F.E.A.R.

I beat F.E.A.R. in one sitting, I was a broken broken man afterward.

About 8 hours, and that was just because I wanted to get Disc 1 of FFIX outta the way. I came close to that playing Megaman X.

back in my starcraft days i used to stay until morning. but nowadays i can't really get into the games as much. i keep thinking it's scripted.

when i played GTA i would spend hours just freeplaying and pissing off the cops than the actual missions

Over two days while i was at my friends house plaing random games(most of the time ff7). I stayed up for so long thanks to....!!!ALCOHOL!!!

About 36 hours on GTA: Vice City when it first came out. Could've been more, i was pretty drunk at the time.

73 houres playing ff12 beat the damn thing to (one sitting hells yea). i was dead to the world for like a week after that but thats ok because it was christmas vacation

You ppl are crazy. I'd stay up as late as 4AM-5AM (rarely), but I'd go sleep a few hours eventually.

I stay up more often reading novels, but 4AM-5AM is still my cut-off mark.

Only ever stayed up for schoolwork when I had to cram for a test. Super rare because the ability to learn drops off exponentially as the night wears on, quickly to the point where it's just better to sleep. Staying up without sleep to study is a complete waste of time.

I was up for 72 hours straight playing through Kingdom Hearts 2 (100%).

Thats the longest Ive ever stayed up I think.

I play metal slug 4 and 5 " the game is short" in hard mode and i starte play at 1 hours PM at 6 hours AM

I don’t know an exact time frame, but when I got Soul Calibur 2 for my Xbox, my little brother stayed the night and we played a bunch of multiplayer followed by going through the entire adventure mode and unlocking pretty much everything in one sitting. I just remember we didn’t go to bed until around 7am and EVERYTHING was hilarious.

I don't sleep.

ive had it for maby a month or 2 and it is AMAZING i cant get enugh. only reason im not on now is because im at school. (who ever came up with the idea of school should be tourterd by every single person who hates school)

I stood up an entire night playing FF7, and this summer I plan on going as long as I possibly can on Tales of Phantasia. I love that game!

Well.... I stayed up 48 hours, alternating between Tetris, that dorky Crash Team Racing game (which I can beat without my glasses on, and I'm horribly, horribly nearsighted) and FFIX.

Of course, after those 48 hours, I was seeing double and my mind was on a five-second delay constantly. I'm never, ever doing that again. I can handle 24 hours waking every now and then, but 48 was really over the top.

PSO kept me up for... oh man, long ass time.

Man, this is nuts. I value sleep way too much to do this sort of stuff.

That said, I did take three days to finish Final Fantasy VII. From waking to sleeping (about 6am-10pm), doing nothing but playing, sleeping, and eating for those three days. I put my whole damn life on hold until I finished that game.

It was awesome. Though, aside from occasionally staying up until about 11pm-midnight when I really get into a game (Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2 comes to mind), I'm never doin' that sort of thing again.

80 hour spread playing EverCrack trying to get fletching up and just rare hunting. Raids took up about 40 hours of that, hunting and creating new characters took up the rest (rares like GBS, FBSS, and a few other high price items to sell at the bazaar)

Stayed up for 24 whole entire hours playing conquer online one time. Needless to say, I was VERY VERY tired the next day :(

I came close (18 hours) on Final Fantasy 3.

Wow, you guys are dedicated. I don't have the attention span to play anything for more than a few hours before I have to go do something else, lol. I do remember sitting and playing Mortal Kombat with my friend for 8-10 hours at a time when I was younger, though. =p

uh, one time I played super smash bros till like 4:30 AM... but I'm not much of a gamer.
this week has been intensely non-sleeping though. Yesterday I went to sleep at ten pm, but I hadn't slept in 48 hours, literally... (no naps either! thank god for drugs. jk jk) I was a little batty with sleep-deprivation, lol... but that's just cause of schoolwork!
