I am having trouble entering my Long Description for my comic, which gets placed on the comic home page. The character count indicates I have more space than is actually available.

In the Comic Overview section of a comic...
Click the link Show Advanced Comic Descriptions
Notice the Characters Left counter is 10240

When you actually try to type in this field, you will receive a prompt indicating that you have exceeded your word count around 255 characters. 255 is the cut off for the Short Description, but the Long Description length should match the character count.

Yup, that has been on the 'bug list' for a while, which is in the "Extermination station" forum.

We admins can't change site coding, although Wowio does now have some developers on staff working on DD (currently on some other changes)- so there's hope that little things like this will get fixed in the future. :]

For now I'm afraid you'll just have to stick with 255 characters, sorry!
