This is such a wonderful 1989 anime, well worth watching. Based on 1905 comic book by Winsor McCay.

I love this movie to pieces! The only problem is that getting it on DVD is a lost cause, because it'll be ridiculously expensive no matter where you go; people are copies on Amazon for $80. I guess DVD sales did so poorly that they stopped making them. *sigh*
