You can definitely tell he's operating without an editor. There are boobies.

For the first time in two years, Frank Cho has published a new issue of Liberty Meadows. I'm not sure why he's sticking religiously to a newspaper comics format, but it's good to see that he's back.

In fairness to Mr. Cho, the part with the boobage? It takes case in Frank's (the protagonist's) subconscious, and is pretty dang funny.

Hey! Good for Frank. Good to see him finally getting back in the groove.
Though I'm not sure about making it NSFnewspapers. I've always thought Liberty Meadows would have been better if he had cut down on the whole cheesecake thing. I don't know about you guys, but I always found it kind of distracting from the comic itself.

Still, editor-free is the way to be, when it comes to personal expression. And I guess that without the sexual tension, and without the hee-larious situations that can be mined from it, the strip would be only about talking animals, and God knows we need another one of those. Overall reaction: instead of pulling out my Bible and screaming, "THAT IS AN A-BAWM-I-NAY-SHUN AGAINST GAWWD!" I'm just shrugging and saying, "Well, that's Frank for ya."

Oh, that wacky Frank Cho
Good to see he’s still doing his thing. His art always amazes me.

I'm also doing that other comic "Space Waffles ".
We now have a podcast called The Random Pirate Comics Show!

Yeah, me too. Frank's good at drawing women, in a way. It's a weirdly specific woman, though-- he drew some issues of the New Avengers, and I was left saying "WTF? Brandy is Spiderwoman?"

As you say, though, I like his work enough that I'm inclined to grin and accept it.
