Lake Hylia Monster?

I noticed that in Lake Hylia in OoT there's a tree that has claw marks in it. I thinked: It's there a monster in Lake Hylia? Could it been Morpha? No. Volvagia? No. He lives in death Mountain. And I ask you, DD People, to help ME to solve this mystery. Will you do it?

I would need to see a picture of these supposed claw marks to offer any kind of opinion. With the graphics of the time, it could just as easily be a wood grain pattern.

Somehow, I doubt Nintendo would hide evidence of some sort of sea monster without making a side quest about it or something. There wouldn't be any point.

That's not entirely true. It's entirely possible for Nintendo to have had some kind of plan for something, but in the end not have time or enough memory on the cartridge for it, and then just to scrap the idea but not take out some of the clues.
For an extreme example, Rare put in a bunch of prizes and such into Banjo Kazooie, with the intent to let you share information with the sequel that would unlock them. They never actually did that, though, so the first game just has this big key somewhere that you can never reach without a gameshark.

Ink is right. Maybe we can investigate?
My theory is that Morpha comed there and possesed the water and moved in a Whip-like movement(Like Indiana Jones whip) to magically curse Lake Hylia water.
Do you have another thoughts?
Theories?
Please tell them here.

http://www.zeldawiki.org/Lake_Hylia [zeldawiki.org] : "In Ocarina of Time there are 3 claw marks on the tree by the warp pad that Link appears at after playing the Serenade of Water."
I can't seem to find a good picture of it. And I am NEVER Google Image searching "Lake Hylia" ever again, for the sake of my eyes.

Acuturbo....o_o Now I'm curious
And I am NEVER Google Image searching "Lake Hylia" ever again, for the sake of my eyes.
Also I'll screenshot it, it'll just take me a while, on my emulator I only just beat Gohma, so I'll have to walk there.
EDIT: However I do not condone this investigation in the slightest! It's prolly just decorational purposes!
EDIT: Got someone to google image it - Creepy...
Also here you go, for anyone still wondering :U

It's probably an artifact from something that was taken out of the final product. Like that cave in Zora's Domain that you can't swim into without hacking the game; it goes nowhere and is probably an artifact from when (in the original concept) you were supposed to get the actual triforce. They took that out of the plot, but since removing set pieces plays hell on the programming they just made it impossible to get to.

sameLake Hylia, or some variation of it, is the name of one of the many Deviant Art contributors with an unusual fetish. This persons happens to be drawing women with extremely disproportional breasts.
Whats creepy about the image search?
