I saw this movie.
It was great!
I enjoyed all the humor. I enjoyed all the action. I enjoyed all the kung fu movie references both gross and subtle.
And yes I thought it would suck.

All the voice actors are really good, and you don't ever get the feeling "Hey this sounds like my suspension of disbelief has just been shattered!"

The movie was great! Jack Black (and everyone else, except for Seth Rogen and Jackie Chan, who really didn't have too many lines, unfortunately) did great! The story was great, the jokes were definitly laugh out loud material, and the animation was awesome! The action, though very fast, was followable, making it easy on the eyes. This film did not dissapoint me or the rest of the family. Five star material!

meh... here we go again, another CGI/3D movie involving a cute animal, cliche plot, he-he's and ha-ha's, and famous actors dubbing it. -_-
I, honestly, had enough with these kind of movies. When are we gonna have a serious, mature (and I'm not asking for an over-the-top things), CGI/3D movie?
That's why I'm still sticking with 2D animated movies whether it's Western, Anime, or other. Example: I would, definitely, prefer the awesome Avengers animated movie released in 2006 over the really bland Over the Hedge.
