Oh, and with the help of the wikia, hold on a moment. All praise the all-knowing and almighty wikia! Anyways, there is a thing where if your intelligence is 3 or lower, you are treated like a retard. Duuuh, I guess you should look stuff up before complaining about it! http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Dean_Dewey

No need to be rude Mettaur. And besides, a single, incredibly obscure encounter at an easy to miss place, that doesn't have any quests tied to it is hardly a good comparison with the retard mode that the earlier games offered. I played this game pretty thoroughly and I had no idea of this being an option. You yourself admitted that you had to dig through the wiki archives to spot this.

I mean, playing a low intelligent character was a whole different experience. I'm always reminded of this hilarious moment from Fallout 2. One of the first settlements you got to has a village idiot named Torr. Torr needs help guarding the Brahmin but it's really hard to communicate with him since most of the words he can muster is his name, moo-moos and bugmen (what he calls radscorpions). However, if you happen to be dumb like him, you will actually have one of the most intelligent conversations you will find in the entire game.

It goes something like this:
Torr: Me Torr (I'm Torr. Can I help you with anything?)
You: You Torr (Hello, Torr. I do have a few questions for you.)
Torr: Me guard moo-moos from bugmen. (I guard our family's brahmin herd from ferocious nocturnal
attacks by bipedal, carapaced creatures that I call bugmen.)
You: Gugmen? (Bugmen? Well, that seems an appropriate appellation from your description. Tell me
more about that.)
Torr: Bugmen take moo-moos at night. Torr scared! Hep Torr? (Well, as I said, they are nocturnal in
their feeding habits. I sure could use some assistance in guarding the grahmin. Will you kill any
bugmen that you see near the brahmin?)
...and so on.

Torr also turns out to be one of the best guides in the town, telling you everything that you need to know about what's going around the place but this help is only available if you're "dumb enough" to understand him.
Those were my two cents.

True, I should get the game and see what this is like. Except I can't afford it. Anyone who would send a copy of Fallout 1 and/or Fallout 2 I would be most appreciative! But true, guess I just tried to prove that the game Isn't "Terrible" in comparison. also, reholding the vote. Except It is a bit different this time. We are holding a poll, on who is the most pitiful water-beggar. Which one sings out to your heart the most? Here is a list of the water-beggars:
Micky, outside Megaton VOTES: Zero
Carlos, outside Rivet City VOTES: Zero
Willy, outside Tenpenny Tower VOTES: Two
Ben Canning, found at random VOTES: Zero

If I've forgotten anyone, please put them down. Well, now that I've got a list, who is the most pitiful water beggar? Who is the one that has those eyes or that sad voice that makes you give them all the water you carry and then get more? Well, I don't know of any that pitiful, but here is a little fact for those that are evil, need good karma, but you killed the water beggars for laughs; Giving Water Beggars water gives you +50 Karma. Ha! Oh, and vote begins now, and ends next Tuesday. So get voting!

and sorry about being rude. It's just when I try to defend something, and by that anything, even a videogame, I defend it as much as i can. Sorry CornTown.

I vote for all of them as the most pitiful! Maybe Ben Canning is less so, he's the one who if you give water to, he'll join one of the caravans, right? That's useful.

I didn't like the water beggars, all I had to do was poke around in some containers and first aid stations and there was plenty. The water beggars were just lazy, I never gave them anything. *crosses arms*

They are too weak to get it, some can barely move as it is! And some don't have the strength to go questing for water. Also, not all have good armor, weapons, and are willing to throw their lives away against raiders for some bottles of water. You are their only hope. But please, just put down which ONE water beggar is most pitiful to you.

Fine. Willy because he's stupid for picking Tennpenny tower as a place to beg outside. As if anyone living there is gonna care if he lives or dies.

Yes, I'd also have to vote for Willy, because I didn't even know there was a water beggar outside Tenpenny Tower. Must have crawled behind a rock to die or something. How does he expect to get water if he's not sitting right in front of the door?

Okay, Willy is in the lead! For being such enthusiastic voters, I reward you with this video I found from digging around the web. I think it describes the games action pretty well. Enjoy.

Yeah, sorry I am not as enthusiastic about this as you all are. I guess I have to try harder then. Also, anyone needing help with Fallout 3 post here! We will help you if we can!

I did EVERYTHING in EVERY DLC.

So, I got bored. D:

I've probably replayed that game at least twenty times. It was fun. But now, I've sold it. For Left 4 Dead 2. Haven't been disappointed.

So it's decided then. Willy is the weakest! Now for the next vote, which character (Non-Ghoul) do you think kicks the most ass, and lives in Megaton? Who is the most awesome character in Megaton? And no, you cannot pick the Lone Wanderer. I will put a list up later on, have fun!
