I'm making a comic with four weapons, and I can't think of a fourth one. The character is psychokinetic, so the weapons aren't actually there, but they're shaped using PK, like the Green Lantern. The weapons I have nailed down are PK Fists, a PK Sword, and a PK Hammer. The fists are just power-ups to normal fighting. The sword and hammer each cater to one of three aspects: Speed (Sword), Power (Hammer), and PK. I need a weapon of some kind to associate with PK abilities. Ideas?

EDIT: Forgot to mention, they all have to be melee weapons.

Spear, staff, flails.

What you need is something with a little distance :] Whip? Boomerang?

Not bad... distance is already covered, as the character can shoot PK blasts out of his hand (humorously enough by pointing his finger like a gun, pyew pyew!).

I thought of a whip, but since the comic is aiming for a video-game feel, I thought it seemed too much like Ratchet and Clank.

A boomerang wouldn't work because the idea is to release energy, and having it come back would defeat the purpose. So that would mean he would need a boomerang that didn't come back, which is what the "gun" is for.

A staff wouldn't work because the idea is to create a melee weapon specialized in psychic attack and exploiting weaknesses, as a release of energy, whereas a staff would need to be held constantly, and would be better off as a solid object.

A flail is interchangeable with the hammer, as they have generally the same function, to fall down really fast.

A spear has quite a bit in common with a sword, but might actually work because the focus would be precision, instead of speed.

So out of five ideas, only one might work. I think I'll hold out for more responses, but thanks for taking the time to answer.

Oh, I thought maybe he had to stay 'attached' to the energy somehow.

What about something like a bola? I suppose it's function would be to immobilize.

Not a bad idea! I like that more than the spear.

Can never go wrong with a crowbar. When Z-day comes around, it's crowbar or no par!

What about a bow?

Well, I just remembered he can already capture, and the bow is the same thing a gun would be.

I'm not sure it's really a weapon, but what about something like smoke? Seems pretty useful :]
