Please help! I'm having trouble saving my pages as JPEGs so i can upload them to DD. My computer ie running on Vista and at the moment I'm drawing my comics with good old fasioned pen and ink, before scanning them onto my computer and then going into mirosoft word to do the speach bubbles. This is where I'm having the troube. So I'm printing the picture and then scanning the print in order to save it as a JPEG. Resulting in a great waste of ink and a loss of resolution... There must be an easier way to do this. Especially as my printer has decided it dosn't want to print anything anymore, so please i need your help. Oh, and to throw another spanner in the works I'm a complete idiot when it comes to computers. So could you make your reply as idiot proof as possible please. Many thanks

i don't think word can save files as jpg. you'll want to use a graphics editing program such as photoshop, illustrator, corel draw, or even mspaint to add the word balloons. if you have a scanner you probablly got some graphics editing program with it. mine came with photoshop elements.

Ah ha!, I don't thing i have any of those programs you just mentioned. But i will look into getting one of them. At least now i won't be wasting my time trying to do something that can't be done. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction mate, i really do appreciate it.

You will have MS paint if you use Vista ^_^
