Sylvester Stallone was fined $2,500 and ordered to pay a court cost of $8,300 by an Australian court Monday for illegally bringing in 48 vials of human growth hormone which he claimed was prescribed to him to help boost his body while filming Rambo.
"This stuff gives your body a boost and you feel and look good," Stallone said in a customs interview. "Doing Rambo is hard work, and I am going to be in Burma for a while. Where do you think I am going to get this stuff in Burma?"

Side effects in adults may include fluid retention, joint pain, and nerve compression symptoms. There is theoretical concern and weak evidence that GH treatment may increase the risks of diabetes or cancer, especially in those with other predispositions treated with higher doses. One survey of adults who had been treated with replacement cadaver GH during childhood showed a mildly increased incidence of colon cancer, but linkage with the GH treatment was not establishe

I love First Blood and I love John J. Rambo!
"Sometimes I wake up and I don't know where I am. And I don't talk to anybody. Sometimes a day. Sometimes a week. Can't put it out of my mind."
And, personally...I can't wait for Rocky Five---THOUSAND!
But, yeah...age is a harsh mistress.

I'm... I'm strangely intrigued by this movie...
I alsoread that Silverster Stalloine wrote and directed this one.
Who knows, maybe it'll turn out like Rocky Balboa, a lot of people said it was pretty good. I think...

I like the first part of that trailer a lot, but then when he starts just being able to take out whole armies of people by himself...it gets a little crazy. But anyway, I don't usually expect movies with Slyvester "I AM THE LAW" Stallone to be good. This should be entertaining though.

Hm, so does that mean that 'good' and 'entertaining' fall under different categories when it comes to sizing up a movie?

I think so at least. I mean, I thought "Judge Dredd" was entertaining, but I'd never call it a good movie. However "Letters from Iwo-Jima" is a really thought provoking good movie, but it's not something I would watch just for entertainment.

You do realise that "Rambo" isn't just a Stalone character? He comes from a book... Looking again at this vid it's actually a rehash of the first movie that was based on the book, but set in Burma so it has the hard-on/bloodsploitation violence of the second movie along with the justification for killing ie. Bad Asian people who hurt some good Westerners and a few villagers.
While the story is a man living on his own with a dark past, not wanting to bother anyone and being pushed over the edge to unleash the deadly violence for which he was originally trained making him become an invincible one man army who's hunted ineffectually by incompetent bad guys.
Meh, the first film was actually pretty good, it had a halfway decent message too. But I can see what they've done here in the typical Hollywood cynical uncreative way: Combine the two original successful films into a new one on the end of a once popular franchise to hopefully make a lot of cash out of it. I wonder when we'll see this done with "Jaws", "Airplane", "Dirty Harry", and all the rest...

There's no creativity in Hollywood anymore. Even the "Best Picture" of 2006, "The Departed", was based on a Chinese film which is aparently better.

Infernal Affairs was the name of that movie. I dunno if I'd say it was better. They were both really good, and really similar. I will say this. Infernal Affairs 2 was WAY friggen better. It was just amazing I'd love to see Scorese adapt that as well
