I thought Jet Li wasn't doing wuxia movies anymore....This sure looks like wuxia
Plus I think it's cool that both Jackie Chan and Jet Li are playing what is basically variations of their roles as Wong Fei Hung. Jackie in Drunken Master, and Jet in Once Upon a Time in China. I'm sure neither of them are ACTUALLY Wong Fei Hung, but they're similar roles.
Basically, I'm not expecting the plot to any good at all. And I'm expecting the "training" to be pretty pussified american karate kid stuff when compared to oldschool hardcore kungfu movie training like punching broken glass. But I'll slap down an admission fee to see Jackie Chan and Jet Li go at it for like 45 seconds.

A person can change their mind, can't they?
Anyway, I'd seriously go to see this in the theaters. I don't care if the training is 'pussified', I wouldn't think anyone would compare it to old school hardcore.
If the plot isn't good, whatever, the movie is still going to make a good heap of change.
The reason I'm going to see this is:
- It Has Jackie Chan
- It Has Jet Li
- It has Hot Asian Chicks
- And I believe I saw some supernatural stuff going on, so that's a bonus.

Alot of the stuff Jackie Chan does are the exact same movie only with a few "twists".
Alot of the stuff Jet Li does now sucks or are too cliche'd with a lack of effort(really you want to retire on the movie Fearless?)
The chicks...well...I don't know what they look like but whatever I might be with you there

What would have been funny... if the kid lands in China(?) and everyone (Chan, Li, the girls) start speaking Chinese to him and he can't understand a word.
Then they make him swallow some magic pill, and for the rest of the movie all the Asian actors have those bad kung fu dubs speaking for them.

say what you may people, but when I saw this preview in the theatre I got excited. I love Jackie Chan and Jet Li and this looks to be a real fun movie.
yeah I would have replaced the white kid from Sky High with possibly that kid from The Enforcer and some other Jet Li flicks. I would pay full price to check this one when it comes out. the cgi special effects look wonderful.
