Bras for men? Like the one Dante has in DMC3? P:

I never assumed things like that happen in real life!

1st vid: “I like this tight feeling” that’s not what they’re FOR! I’d like to know if those customers are gay or straight - if they’re straight I’m running away! How the hell would that help you understand women?

2nd vid: and now we enter the Uncanny Valley 0_0 wait till they make them robotic, it’ll be chobits all over again.

Well they did get nuked a couple of times, so I'm willing to forgive their eccentricities.

I'm also willing to forgive them since they're making giant robots.

Their faces still look like men in those pictures...feminine men, but men all the same.

The doll video:

"This is one of my more realistic dolls"

Yeah, not when her boobs sit up like that when she's laying down. I haven't even seen implants do that.

And the anime style dolls at the end, extra creepy.

Not really. they don't even look like masculine women to me...

All it takes for a man to look pretty feminine is fat in the cheeks and the face in general. Not a "fat face", but a padded one.
Males have less padding, as do older people of both sexes and fitness fanatics of both sexes.

Which makes it easier for a lot of east Asian people because they often tend to have rounder, softer faces.

In that first picture...find a picture of an Asian woman and compare them. He looks feminine, but not like you couldn't tell he was a man. Everything is wrong...the eyes, the nose, the lips. He even kept man eyebrows, for goodness sake.

I disagree Hippie. Plenty of women have faces masculinised enough that he can pass as one. :)

I'd have to see the hips. Like Ozone said you really can't tell just from faces.

Though judging from the fingers I'd lean towards he/she being male.

As for the Wii muscle man game it reminds me of Terry Gilliam animation from Monty Python.

True...if you weren't expecting a man, or weren't studying them very closely, they could probably all pass for masculine women. But a place which was hiring people to look like pretty maids wouldn't hire masculine women, so it wouldn't work.

Let us compare!

da_kasha

As you can see, the woman has fuller lips as well as a smaller nose, chin, and brow. All desirable traits for a woman.

lol, as if the fallout caused some strange but attractive girlish boy crossbreeds to emerge, who went on to tempt american teenagers to question their sexual orientations over the internet?
i think the lesson that we were supposed to have learned from wise movies like guitar wolf's Wild Zero is to, um, go with the flow on this one.

Heh, I think the trend stems from Japanese art- Manga and anime in particular, where the young are idealised and the males look the same as the girls.
And when you think about it the girls tend to be pretty androgynous too- small breasted, slim hips, small bums, straight thighs.

There is an origin in older Japanese culture where transvestitism was accepted and wearing make-up and looking extremely pretty and womanly was a trend even for some samurai. -So in that sense, being "pretty" had about it a hidden strength.

Tranvestitism is still popular in the western world. It is not as mainstream as it is in Japan but it is popular.

As for effeminate warriors, that was big in the west until the 20th Century especially among Brits. It kind of died in the trenches of WWI. Then there's the 17th-18th C. French Ancien Regime

It's just more mainstream in Japan.
