Don't get grumpy, man. :] This IS a webcomics site, people are mostly here for the webcomics. This subform is one of the slowest and most 'art dump' posts here don't get many replies, unless they're asking for some kind of specific feedback. I suspect that people look at the art others post here (I do) and think whatever they think about it, but just aren't always motivated enough to say something specific about it. Just replying 'nice art' sounds a little weak, even though the artist would surely like to hear even a little something.
It is nice to see a sculptor around these parts though, I hope that gets incorporated into your future comic somehow. :]

Is there even anyone here??? Trying to make contact, but getting no replies at all...at least take a look...

We have a big thread for deviant art links stickied up there, right now it just looks like you're plugging your DA and most will ignore you.
Also if you're going to give up on doing your comic just for not getting any replies in a low traffic forum, then yeah, i'd suggest giving up. Doing a webcomic wont equal instant readers and takes quite a bit of time to build them up(if at all depending on your comic) It's like setting yourself up for instant disappointment.
Your sculpting is very nice though.

Skullbie does have the right of it though! Most of the folks who post here post their work for the sheer love of doing it! I know I have a store and merchandise, but hey, I'd be dumb not to put forth my very best effort. My wife thinks I'm a little wacky (but in a good way) for putting so much time (over 3000 hours) into something that nets me no monetary return whatsoever! I like to think that I am contributing something, however small, to humanity--for which I believe my Deity is happy. But this is in fact seriously hard work and a commitment not too many people can stick with. I have watched innumerable good comics drop off the earth here...its sad, but its life. I'm still here after three years, still having fun and hope for many more years!
