Is it okay to make a "fake" comic for HTML purposes?

I am having a difficult time making improvements to my page, I have deleted everything accidently several times, is it okay to create a fake comic that doesn't show up anywhere simply to try your layouts? Or is that frowned upon?

Do it! :) You could always just delete the new html test comic when you're finished with it if that's what you want to do. ;)
