They spy on us, we spy on them. Is this really a shock to anyone?

The fact that our government is aware of the hacking attempts leads me to believe they are not succeeding in any manner.

Doesn't really matter, tho. We'll never go to war or stop trade with them. They own a big chunk of the USA now. If we stop relations with China our economy would flatline.

What makes me laugh is the way the US has so outrageously accused China of 'spying reminiscent of the cold war'... As if the states has ever slowed down its own spying activities... if anything, with increased technology, US spying activities has increased.

But I do agree that its be pretty impossible for USA to go to war with China. And the whole spies thing... like Spang said, spy-vs-spy, its a old game.

I like the way the original poster emphasized race over nationality, and then spelled it wrong. It gave a nice edge of "idiot humor" to what would otherwise have been a stupid & offensive post.

But it would have been nice if the OP had spelled "too" correctly, instead of using the full infinitive by mistake.

Spying is part of normal international relations, it always has been. I was shocked at the penalty they went for, fo the 75 year old... He passed on details decades ago about some rocket project, a cargo plain, and some flight manuals. Basic stuff really that the Chinese could probably have gotten legitimately. And yet these insane prosecutors and asking for a 45 year penalty! For a guy in his 70s! For offences that happened years ago!

May as well as for an execution... Really, what you do in these situations is hold your caught spy and try and swap them for one of yours who was captured by them.

Every Chinese citizen who comes to America has to sign a pledge to spy for their country while here. They also have, on the ground, a 250,000 man army right here in America. And also notice, while Americans sit there and gorge on the buffet, the Chinese servers and management all look to be in incredible shape.

Ever notice how at many Chinese restaurants all the workers are near the same age. Old people are seen only at family owned restaurants, but with the People's Liberation Army ready to rock and roll. The PLA is registered as PLA, Inc. in many county courthouses for their business licenses. This is a fact that can be checked. PLA, Inc. owns thousands of restaurants now, as well as "massage parlors" and cleaners. And they keep their eyes and ears open all the time.

A Chinese General in 1997 said the Chinese would beat America within 20 years.

The "man on the street' in China tends to be brainwashed into hating Americans and the American soldier is considered their greatest threat. In their training, they are told this and are made to see their opponents as Americans.

The Illuminati may not be able to get them to cut a deal, so there will be a war again on American soil. It'll start with the Chinese landing in Mexico and invading from the south with a Sino-Latin army. But at the right time, I believe all those students and workers will get together in bands and do much damage before their army even gets there.
