dont think i would have gotten through my childhood if i was afraid of clowns. when i was a kid my mom collected toy clowns and kept em around the house and man, she had a lot. if they came to life it would have been an invasion so thanks to that clowns arent scary, but a loving reminder of my childhood....on the other hand that didnt protect me from Freddy Krueger who was living in back of my couch...Drokk.

None of them look creepy, they just look like fighters, like any other. Whether they wear Western style camo uniforms or their own irregular cultural gear, makes no difference...

I can see a clown coming as they are brightly colored and usually noisy. Viet Cong and Afghani's are very good at hiding and you get paranoid because when they do show themselves you may already be dead.
It's not American versus any other nationality. Instead it's being one of those dumb guys in uniform bee-bopping through the bush or mountains waiting to get shot at.
