This is actually a common movie trivia but for all you happy people who didn't know, the role of Indiana Jones almost went to Tom Selleck. Unfortunately for Selleck, he was too busy with his hit TV show, Magnum PI, to participate in the movie and the role was given to Lucas rising star at the time, Harrison Ford. Here you can see a trailer that someone skillfully edited with footage from Selleck screen test and the finished movie to give you a glimpse of what could have been.
