The new Incredible Hulk movie is coming out in June. It's supposed to be a reboot which ignores the 2003 Ang Lee movie. Abomination is the bad guy this time, and Robert Downey Jr. is supposed to play Tony Stark in the movie too, making it a "shared universe" movie to the Iron-Man movie, although it probably doesn't have Hulk fighting Stark in the Hulkbuster.

Did those bastards just try to make The Hulk handsome?? >8-0
Look at the trailer yourself. The Hulk's face in the trailer doesn't look like the above pic. It looks like some Levi's model's face painted green.

I think it's mostly in the hair. He's got very fashionable hair in the trailer.

He doesn't look as balloonish as he did in the last one. Maybe they'll do us a favor and have Punisher: War Journal be computer animated too(not the movie, the character!).

That's supposed to be the Punisher?
I thought I was looking at someone's Punisher cosplay site.

er.... NO.
AT least not with Brigette Nelson. She's like 65 years old and extremely unattractive now. :(
Anyway, how come nobody has mentioned the great casting for Bruce Banner this time around. Ed Norton is the ultimate cool wimp!

Bastards, that's Red Sonja.
Actually most "stars" and celebs look pretty ordinary without their super expensive stylists. Probably just a symptom of that really. In combination with the shine of youth wearing off.
Pretty silly really. Man, we're superficial bastards. lol!

Ed Norton really does look like Banner from the comics, with a slight nod to Bill Bixby's appearance, too (and the nice "eyes" effect from the classic TV show).
Tim Roth makes a good bad guy, too.
This movie has potential! I'm looking forward to it. :)

At least Hulk actually battles someone. The version of Absorption Man in the last movie was stupid because he hardly had any physical form, even as a pile of rocks!

I Hope that the Marvel and the movie people figure it out this time.
if not...let me tell you how to make a HULK movie...o.k.
two words...
HULK SMASH.
------
its that simple.
10 minutes of Bruce Banner(5 in the beginning...5 in the end)...90 minutes of Hulk...breaking stuff and killing creatures and smashing Tanks....and buildings and whole platoons...maybe a stand off with one of those gunship helicoptor thingies.
Just a high adrenaline circus of destruction.
why is that so difficult?

Their reason for making this a sequal to a bad movie instead of like a whole new movie is so they could skip through the obligatory hour & 1/2-long origin story before getting to the main fight. It's not like they need to tell everyone the story all over again. I find it weird though that after they finally bring Abomination into the movies, they kill him off in the comics. Technically, the new one is "A-Bomb".

Okay, so at least in this one there's a more potential villain, but also sets up another one for a possible sequal(i.e.: The Leader). They also mention the "team" that Stark is puting together. Like a bowling team? So far, the Masters Of Evil in this storyline would consist of Iron-Monger, Abomination, and The Leader, none of which were actually in the MOE(outside of Marvel Adventures which doesn't take place in the regular Marvel Universe). They'd have to throw in Loki or Red Skull to make it worth checking out, because they can only use characters from Marvel Comics movies done through Universal, so no evil mutants or Spidey-rogues.
The new Hulk movie played out alot like the Ultimate Destruction video game, right down to the automobile boxing gloves. The new game based on the movie seems a little more promising, at least more than the Spidey 3 game was.

From everything I've read, it seems like the new game is buggier and less fun than Ultimate Destruction. Seems a shame, I was kind of looking forward to it since they were trying to use a similar system and all.
As for villains, Loki is supposedly going to be the main villain in the upcoming Thor movie. I don't think they're going to actually start to touch on any of the "team" stuff until the Captain America movie, though. Before that one comes out, they still have to release Thor, Doctor Strange (I'm looking forward to this one, Guillermo del Toro with Neil Gaiman writing), Nick Fury, and Ant Man.

Man, what a sausage fest. What about Ms. Marvel, Spider-Woman, Black Widow, Wasp, or even Scarlet Witch?

Yeah... She carries her enchanted Cue Stick and nine ball to thwart evil doers... And hustlers.

Anywho, I didn't like Stan Lee's cameo in this flick.
Lee's cameo in Iron Man is still #1 (cause it's the only one I can remember).

I've heard rumors that Wasp might be a package deal with Ant-Man. From everything I've heard, they seem to be shooting more for the lineup from Ultimate Avengers, so we might not see some of the characters from the classic comics make it into the storyline. And even tough I listed those movies, I don't know for certain all of those characters will be involved with the Avengers. It is possible they may pick and choose some and throw in some character who didn't have their own movies.

They didn't say what happened to Lee's character after he drank the soda. Is there a 15ft. green-skinned Stan Lee roaming the countryside?
Notice that Hulk was actually a little shorter and a little less powerful in this one? He usually jumped a good few miles in the first one, but in this one he's leaping from rooftop to rooftop, one after the other. Notice how like 2 other Marvel movies this one ended with a fight in an abandonned church in New York?

I'm going to go against popular opinion and let you know my secret. I like smart Hulk the best.
When the Hulk was grey, the comic had some pretty damn good dialogue. Even when he was smart (Banner's mind) and green and leader of the pantheon, I thought that series was great too.
There's only so much you can so with "HULK SMASH" before it gets stale. I like to see the Hulk become a more complex character. ;)
That said, there will never be a grey Hulk movie. It would just be Hellboy.
