i would say cleaner ink lines. i yjink therer might be a program called "inkscape" to help you with it

Thanks for the advice, I'm gonna go look that up. The biggest issue I'm facing at the moment is the ink.

As far as inking, I got a few pointers you might wanna incorporate
1) scan lineart at 300 dpi or more
2) resize it to 72 dpi
3) use the channels to clear out the white space.
4) use "multiply" on the blending mode.

I understand how to resize it at 300 dpi, but how do I do it back to 72?

I use manga studio to ink becuase of its "line correction" feature. i bought the program so i dont know if youre wanting to buy anything but i only paid $40 at a local anime convention for it. but inkscape is a great program. i saw this thread and downloaded it and it its very nice. try it out(which of course i know u did)! it should prove to be very useful!
