Who would play who? Make a casting call:

NADYA, THE MOVIE:

Starring:

Jennifer Connelly as the Queen:

Dame Judi Dench as Charna:

Steve Buscemi as Eisner:

and, Gillian Anderson as Fyline:

Post yours! Photoshop away if you must!

Nadya- a tale about what happens to SOME of us when we die.

Currently: Nadya is awake and asking more relevant questions.

If it were up to me, I would cast unknowns for a Vampire Phantasm live action movie. (Though I would want Tim Burton to direct it. XD)
Though I wouldn't mind big actors for VOICE acting...but that's a different topic.

Jennifer Connelly is awesome! She isn't cast for enough big roles!

Children at Play movie eh? I'd cast mostly unknown actors, or character actors, probably some young stand-up comics. Rupert Everett would play Dean Martin though. Oh, and James Earl Jones would be the voice of Willard Scott.

Modern Day Witchdoctor, on the other hand, I'd probably have to do all CG. The point of the art style is that it's fun and easy to draw, it's stylish, and it's simplicity is supposed to contrast with the complexity of some of the characters and situations. Like, you wouldn't expect something that looks like this to have a character like that, thats part of the idea. Now if it were made into a film I would have no problem simply making it live action, but if that were the case it'd lose all conectivity to the comic, I'd have to start the story from scratch.

Okay, I don't know the whole cast, it'd be all British, which does pare down my options somewhat... but I can give you three:

Rekki Lune, the petite, red haired terror would be played by Bonnie Wright. She plays Ginny Weasley in the Harry Potter films, and I think she has rather a resemblance to Rekki.

Beoran Anglise would have to be Liam Neeson (Qui Gon Jinn in Star Wars, the villain in 'Batman Begins') He's too cool not to have in a film.

Fuchia Ellis would totally be played by a proper English dame, probably Maggie Smith:

If American007 was a movie, it would be CG'ed, much like the Final Fantasy movies, so the VAs would be...

Tiffany "Elementiss" Carson - Tara Strong (Known for roles as Raven in Teen Titans)

Scott "Chill" Ridley - David Kaufman (Known as Danny in Danny Phantom)

Raphael "Sonic Morph" Hahn - Steven Blum (Spike Spiegel in Cowboy Bebop)

Clyde "Inferno" Jeeves - Jason (Jaxon) C. Lee (Shigeru Aoba in Evangelion)

Samuko "Shadow Stalker" Kiershi - Amanda Winn Lee (Rei in Evangelion)

Tybalt "Mindbruise" Firephal - Ralph Lister (Walter C. Dolnez in Hellsing)

Cthulhu - Peter Cullen (Optimus Prime in the classic Transformers cartoons, as well as in the movie)

Amy Hahn (Or Rose) - Allison Keith (Her Misato role in Evangelion, not the high pitched ones in Excel Saga)

Robotnik/Eggman - Mike Pollock (Present VA for Eggman in the Sonic Games)

Shadow - David Humphrey (Former VA for Shadow in Sonic Adventure 2, no way am I letting Jason Griffith touch him)

That's pretty much how I would slice it, can't imagine A007 being a live action movie, it would just feel to weird for me.

Director?
Andy Tennant. I don't know much about directors or anything, but he directed Hitch and Ever After along with a few other movies that have the type of mood similar to my comic.

Actors:

Sandra Bullock as Kaida -- I think she has the perfect features and can do the emotional range needed for the part. Kaida is sarcastic and witty but also deeply troubled and sensitive deep inside

Reese Witherspoon as Yuki -- A multidimensional, sometimes empty-headed but surprisingly bright and always very sexy woman.

Thora Birch as Seiko -- Honestly a dead ringer. She's got a cute face, and few other actresses really have the look.

Aaron Eckhart as Fudo -- Mostly for the rugged good looks (the pronounced cleft in the chin is cool too). Several of the roles I've seen him in remind me of (younger) Fudo.

Zachary Levi as Brad -- Again, mostly based on looks. He's got a good smile too, which is important for Brad, since he smiles a lot.

Johnny Galecki as Tristan -- I don't know why. He just seems to be the best fit for the role.

Mark Addy as Toyo -- An adorable overweight guy and a good actor. Can't be any better.

I know absolutely none of the younger actors out there, so I can't really cast my two teen characters Alex and Mike. Eh. That's okay. This is a good lineup of my core cast aside from that.

Other Stuff:

I think a live action movie could be adapted from my comic. It would work in live action better than a cartoon or CG thing. I'll have to ponder over voice actors if it was a cartoon.

I think unknowns would be the way to go with Vindibudd. And I would have final say over the choice of each character. As for currently known actors? Why don't you all pick who you think would be great? Since I have no idea.

Vindibudd
General Safety
Vindibabe
Common Sense Girl

Alright, because I don't want to make a seperate topic of something so similar...here are my choices for Vampire Phantasm VOICE ACTORS:

Jack: If not my current voice actor Agent Grey hehe...then Cillian Murphy or Johnny Depp.

Orlock: ...this one I'm not sure about. Definitely would have to do auditions. It's too bad Jason Miller isn't alive though...after hearing his creepified voice at the beginning of the Exorcist III, I would say he would've been perfect.

Vallov:
Clancy Brown

Jill: Milla Jovovich

Raff: Christian Slater

Topaz: Another one I haven't thought about...

...and a minor character casting but...I can see Bill Moseley playing Connor.

Cannot think of live-action actors for my comic (I need to watch more Disney)! Yet still, I have a grip of VOICE actors I'd like to tap for BLNT!

Teddy Atwater (Malcolm David Kelly, Lost)

Desmond Blackshear (Regina King, Jerry Maguire, 24, LOVE her in The Boondocks)

Rayne Atwater (Gabrielle Union, Bring It On, Bad Boys II, 10 Things I Hate About You)

Vanessa Castro (America Ferrara, Real Women Have Curves, Ugly Betty)

Seth Rosenhaus (Jason Wiles, Third Watch, Higher Learning)

Russell Wu (Aaron Yoo, Disturbia)

Honorable Mention
Dr. Robert Sloan (Daniel Benzali, Star Trek, Murder One, Murder At 1600 [star])

Courage Chronicles would have:

Lucas Black as Mythgarr (wearing brown wig and green contact lens), his rebellious performance on Tokyo Drift makes him a good choice for this cast.

Liam Neeson as The Scarlet Wizard. Cool, calm, confident, charming, and mysterious as the same time.

Shailene Woodley as Tamara Kamil. She is a true sweetheart. I was gonna cast Emma Watson, but her face is too strong. Perhaps as younger version of Thellrye (hint! hint!)

Megan Fox as Thellrye Symthee. She has dark hair, dark eyes, hot bod,and can perform hot actions! If Monica Belucci is at her late 20s or early 30s, she would be cast rather than Megan.

I'd want The Pirate Terminators to be all CG, Advent Children-style since a lot of it would be difficult to do in live action (Tenkyo, for example.) So here's who I'd go with, and bear in mind I have a pretty limited experience in the area of voice actors:

Monica Rial [en.wikipedia.org] as Genesis.

Cree Summer [en.wikipedia.org] seems to be cursed with "dragon"-type roles, and there'd be no better a voice actor for Tenkyo Feda.

Kira Vincent-Davis [en.wikipedia.org] as Bebe. She tends to have roles that would perfectly suit the little twerp.

Jennifer Sekiguchi [en.wikipedia.org] as Deedee. I tend to think of the character as having a voice virtually identical to that of Guu.

The robots (Telloh and Tellori) would probably just be unknowns - you don't really need a lot of personality to play Telloh, and Tellori's voice is botched up by squeakiness and tinniness that you'd barely recognize who's playing her anyway (She basically sounds like Gir.)

Frank Baron, NSO would have to be animated (if you look at how the characters are built I think it becomes pretty clear why that is). Same for Rent-A-Thug.

I'll probably add more later, but off the top of my head only one voice role really stood out.

Frank Baron, played by John DiMaggio (Bender on Futurama, Marcus Phenix in Gears of War, and a whole whack of other stuff).

Ok, here goes...

The Path casting call (if money weren't an issue)!

Chance McGavin: Viggo Mortensen http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001557/
(WHile Chance is actually designed off of Kurt Russel in "The Thing", Viggo's the kind of rough-and-tumble actor that you would believe could take the kind of beatings Chance gets and still manage to get up again. Plus he's able to play characters that are likeable and apprehensible at the same time...which is Chance to a "t"))

Kat: Amy Davidson http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0203221/
(She's cute, but not unrealiztically "hawt", and young-looking enough to be a stark contrast to Viggo's Chance. I think the pair would make a good team on-screen)

Nyarlathotep: Liam Neeson (voice)(Do i REALLY need to link him?)
(I think Neeson proved in Batman Begins that he can have logical evil drip from every word he says. Now put his voice to a flaming skull carrying a knife made of children's bones...and you've got the extra-dimensional deity ready to end existence)

Pop/Edward: John Hurt http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000457/
(John Hurt is just awesome in everything he does. As Prof. Bruttenholm in Hellboy, he's proven he can be caring and sarcastic at the same time...which is exactly the kind of character Pop is)

Inanna: Lena Headey http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0372176/
(She's beautiful and she's bad-ass. She showed in 300 that she can have a commanding presence. Inanna's a goddess of war and fertillity, and Lena Headey looks like she's fit the bill perfectly.)

Ratatosk: Hugo Weaving (voice) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0915989/
(This one's total guilty pleasure. As I wrote The Path, it was always Weaving's voice in my head for Ratatosk...so I couldn't imagine anyone else doing the role)

Wolf(as werewolf): Kevin Grevioux http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0340485/
(Just watch "Underworld" and you'll see why he has to be werewolf-form Wolf)
Wolf(as child): Ryan Malgarini http://www.ryanmalgarini.com/
(Part of what makes Wolf such a tragic character is that he's really just a cute kid with a shitty lot in life. Look at this kid...he practically sweats "cute", slap some scars on him and he's perfect as Wolf's human side)

Everyone else would pretty much be extras, cameos, and CGI.

I already did a comic about this:

The Author's Comments said:

"Yes, I am pleased to announce the HVH movie. As you can see, there are some MINOR changes. This is done so that it appeals to the target audience of retards and MTV obsessed teens. All of the characters now have new jobs. For example, Mike is now a loose cannon cop who doesn't play by the rules and will be played by Will Smith. Umbra's Disney obsession will be replaced with an MTV obsession (as seen on this poster), all the female characters will be shallow, slutty, and wear the least amount of clothing possible, and Erag will now be portrayed as corporate buisness man. God will not appear, as he refuses for this film to have anything to do with him. He will be replaced by Orlando Bloom."

Sam would be played by:

Alex would probably be played by:

Homophobia: The irrational fear that gays will break in and re-arrange your furniture against your will.

Shockwire: Megan Fox.

Megan: That's a tough one. If people are willing to believe Natasha Lyonne is a college freshman, I guess.

Whiplash: Jodi Lyn O'Keefe and a whole CGI and makeup department full of sleepless nights.

Vector: Casper Van Dien. He's a bit too old now, but I think with a crewcut he could pull it off.

Skulhedd: CGI plus the voice of Joe Pesci.

Psshhh... I pride myself on daydreaming about a Dasien movie adaptation .

Jessica Alba as Dasien (Well, DUH!)
Eliza Dushku as Parker Lynn Bailey
Kevin Zegers as Lord Crimson (Oh yeah... See, I'm not stupid, girls!)
James Gandolfini as The Gooch

...And those are just off the top of my head. I'd have to really think about the rest of the cast.

As for Pinky TA , well...
Reconjsh Reckons that Milla jovovich has the right look for Pinky:

He's probably right... I've often thought about Franke Potente, but Milla might have a better nose for the role:

As for Cc, I don't know... I really love Eva Huberman, she's got a nice face, and she's so German; can do those cold looks I'd like from Cc pretty well...

You don't know how badly I would want that to happen. And just think about how many demographics it covers. I could be an action-drama-romance-comedy-disaster summer blockbuster with tons of sexy people starring! I mean, who wouldn't go see that?!

Oh, another thing. If it were to be animated, I'd pick Gillian Anderson for the voice.

Why? Because that's what Das sounds like. That's why.

No way! She's way too goofy! (Dasien) I mean, she can be rough, tough, and determined, but she's still a goofy happy gal at the heart of everything... If anything, I'd say Gillian would be way better at Parker!

well basically I would love it if the people in Jurbas comics were played by the real people(all the people are based on friends I know) becuase we are all performers anyway. Especially Kyle who wants to be a movie actor I would love to cast him as his dopey self.

If I could have BIG names though.....

Brendan Fraser/ Matt LeBlanc/ Milo Ventimiglia would play Jurbas!

Justin would be played by Tom Cruise

Kyle by Freddie Prinze Jnr.

And Beej by Jessica Alba!or Sarah Michelle Gellar

Everyone's a tosser...but you slightly more

If Morphic was a movie? (What a meandering, vague movie it would be...) We-ell, I have a hard time casting my comic, because most of the actors whose names I know are either too old, or simply don't fit. So I went scouring IMDB, Google and Wikipedia, and came up with this:

Colin would be played by Charlie Cox, with slightly longer hair and glasses:

Lexie would be played by Kelly Macdonald - they're a really good match, facially, and from what I've seen of her, she's an alright actor:

Nicodemus, on the other hand, is difficult. I need someone young, who can still look convincing with a beard. Also, albino. Yeah. Mathieu Kassowitz is a pretty good match, but I don't know if he's too old or not - give him a white wig and a fake beard and some contacts, and maybe:

The rest of the cast is still very vague. I do know that the principal is going to be played by Olympia Dukakis, though:

The Continued Misadventures of Bonebird - a poor bird's quest for the ever-elusive and delicious apples.

YES! :D

To be perfectly honest, it's hard for me to picture the characters in Chimera as live actors, so I really have no earthly idea who would play them... (But if it were animated, I would do anything in my power to get Steven Blum to play either Mamoru or Masahiro. I just think he has the sexiest voice in the world. <3)

I am pretty sure I'd done this once before... but anyway:

For Wolf as a movie, which actually would be very easy to adapt:

Amanda Pitt would play Zoe Perks well, I think:

And Adrien Brody could pull off David Baker well:

The The Olsen Twins could probably pull off the Fiens Twins, though I have never watched a single of their movies so I wouldn't know...

And then there is Raven:

I think Lucy Liu could do her justice ;)

Which brings us to Mike:

The closest I have come so far to his likeness is James Caviezel:

What do you think?
