I've been bitching and moaning for years that I can't draw, and I've come to realize it's not a can't but a won't.

Ok, do expect anything amazing because I'm not a competent artist. Hell, I'm not even an artist. And I know they need a lot of work.

But what I'm about to show you is a couple of ideas for a comic I want to do, and since no one answered my ad I'll just try hard and draw it myself. Oh, and I don't have a scanner so I took some photo's! :)

So, here goes.

1. This is a V.A.X officer. Like a more stylish Judge from 2000AD. The render isn't good, I'm just working on a pallette. I'll probably ink it digitally. Also, just messing around with dimensions and things.



2. This is a Warrior of Kru. Ok, this means nothing to you. You'll have to wait for th comic to discover what this is. I know the arms don't look right and stuff, but I'm working on it. Also, need to add some colour.



So, there we are. I'm no pro, but I'm proud myself. Not going to claim it's brilliant or better than anybody else.

Also, it's the first time I've post anything I've drawn on-line, so if possible don't be too harsh but I'm open to constructive criticism to help me get better.

my advice to you would be to spend less time trying to produce finished colored work . at this point you need to study anatomy and weapon/clothing designs .
just get a cheap spiral notebook and a handfull of pencils and sketch like crazy , don't finish anything yet, just practice and nobody has to see it, you're bound to improve by the end of the notebook.

Thanks lothar, I've actually taken all those steps.

I just thought I try it on a bigger scale, and the coloured one was just to try some colour on the suit, see if it worked.

And then I thought I'd show people :)
