I've found that this sin't a mac friendly site.
I cant'tview some visual options, or change my cover page, and a few other things.
Any plans on changing this?

It could just probably be a Safari problem rather than a "mac" problem.
Have you tried different browsers for the mac? Try using a different browser and see what button options come up on that page.
Here is a short list of browsers and some comments:

Firefox is a good one.
Opera is good but has trouble with us sometimes.
SeaMonkey has had issues with us in the past,
IE7 is usually ok.

Eh... try Firefox, Camino... maybe some of those others. It's prolly Safari that's the problem.

I bounce back and forth between Safari and Firefox, myself. I have discovered that there a few administrative things that I have trouble with in Safari, but worked fine in Firefox. I have, on the other hand, had issues logging in from Firefox on certain versions of OSX. Generally, though, most of the things i perceived (web-wise) as a "mac limitation" was really a "safari" limitation and was easily quelled by switching to Firefox.

As far as i know IE development for OSX has stopped, and if you don't have it, have fun trying to find it. Frankly IE aggravates me because it displays certain things (particularly more complex table arangements) differently than any other browser, so I have to "dumb down" web designs cause 90% of people have a PC with IE.... bleah... --end rant--

Anyway... anyone who's had issues with safari, i recommend firefox.
