GAH!
So I was on Amazon.com and I was buying "Making Comics" by Scott McCloud, which is his new book. Amazon had decreased it to around $15. But I needed something around $10 to get up to $25 so I could get free shipping.
So I bought The Batman: Second Season for $13.88.
Yeah, I'm supposed to hate this show because it completely bastardizes the old batman mythos and kidifies it. But something about the fact that it's a batman show that I haven't seen made me buy it.
Anyway I'll report to you guys what it's like after it arrives and I've viewed some episodes.
Oh god what have I done...

Ladies and gentlemen, behold! I give you... the most uninformed person in the whole comics business!

PS: Read more about Scott here . He's out on an exhaustive (and exhausting) nationwide tour with his family right now, so look out-- he might be coming to a town near you. (And if he is, don't miss him. He puts on a good show.)
PPS: C-Master, I jest. Don't kill me.

I don't doubt that Making Comics is a good/great book, or I wouln't have shelled out $15 bucks for it. But Amazon, in their "Look! Add $9.36 to your account to get free shipping!" made me buy what may be the worst icarnation of Batman ever. (Aside from Batman and Robin.)
But only time will tell.

this IS the book where it talks about abstract, and why a circle with 2 dots and a line resemble a face, and the six steps to making a comic, is it not?

I agree. But also look at it this way, you can try and sell the dvds too. Someone would probably buy it.
