B. Does Sonic instill anything other than feelings of disappointment in its fan base anymore?
C. Who really cares?
I really don't understand why out of all the games the industry produces these days, Sonic of all things, a game series which even its own fan base admits hasn't had a single decent title since the 16-bit generation (some may argue the games weren't that great even then), keeps getting new threads every time a new title is announced or even mentioned. I mean really, what is it that keeps people coming back to this franchise. What, "tenth time's the charm?" How many chances are people going to give the blue rodent before they admit he's a relic that couldn't make the jump to 3D?

The game looks okay, except for that painting minigame you have to play every other level.

The gameplay I've seen just looks boring. The stages look like blander versions of the Sonic stages in the Adventure games.
