Weird, I had a toy just like that once. It was a third party knockoff of the dinosaur inspired Transformers and mine would turn into a futuristic plain. Except I could leave his legs dangling below him while he flew.

Wow... that thing must put out a lot of bullets...
Read the blog that came with the link. It wouldn't have been too hard to wipe one of those out. Well.... that is.... if I had decided to research down the Armor Theory branch of the tree. Everyone else was using beam weapons, so I had plenty of energy defenses.

Yub, that thing has 10 black hole generators! (which is grossly redundant since you only need one to insta-kill any opponent, no matter how big and tough he is (and you can't target more then one ship at a time)).
...Oh... and it costs enough money to bankrupt an empire that controls a good quarter of a galaxy.

I guess in my next game I'll build a ship that can counter that one. 192 mass driver damage is going to require a lot of armor (that's no understatement)!
