It seemed okay, but the rest of the pages seemed to just be him talking about stuff and no actual comic.
I am sad to say it didn't blow my mind.
Gimme some Order of the Stick anyday!

Other comics are over here . Nedroid is also the current colourist for Dr Mcninja .

It's a little unfair to compare the simple charming humour of Beartato with the verbose table-top RPG humour of OoTS.

Unfair on OoTS that is. ZING.

I have to agree with Harkovast on this one. And ozoneocean is right Harkovast is in it's stride right now.

It depends on the audience who's reading it. Nedroid is targeted for hormone driven teens born in the 90's. Old folks like me no longer find the appeal to most youth driven comics because we've already read a plenty in our early days. XD

So... I'd just say

Weave > Nedroid

Wait? Hormone? Driven? Teens?

Are we reading the same comic?

The comic is charming and very quirky. However, I don't know that it is truly for the younger crowd. It feels to me like an older fellow harking back to days of innocence, rather than aiming at a target group.

It is strange, usually clever, and often fairly sophisticated (in a quirky any-thing-can-happen way).

Let me be clear, though I love Nedroid, I was referring to this specific comic as "Perfection".

So, if you want me to go into more detail (than you need):

It is a perfect blend of quirky humor, pop-culture parody, it is massively surreal, yet endearingly childish. Sort of Watterson-y in how (in a good way) imaginative the happenings are and how warm and organic the art is, and sort of Penny Arcade-ish (when PA is at its best) in its bizzare hyperbole that is the source of its comedy.

Dunno, it hit all the right spots for me - I LOLed so hard, I can't remember when that happened last time while reading a webcomic (it was probably Achewood). I mean, the setup, the buildup with its pounding repetition of "battle-ready" and "battling" - a superb use of the phenomenom of semantic satiation to comedic effect, the twist with the "hand of friendship" (and what a great delivery, breaking it down in two word baloons) and the silent super-twist at the end, a perfect climactic, yet anti-climactic finale to all this fantastic nonsense going on. I mean, how do you top a battle-dracula combining with battle-turtle into a giant bizzaro-mech (and just look at how stupid the "combined" mech looks - just like it sounds, so there is all that post-modern deconstruction of pop-culture tropes going on there, too)? Well, you don't, you just go with something unexpected that kinda ends the story.

So, that's what I meant with "perfection". It works on so many levels, it is amazing. And it's funny as hell. And for the record, I am 32. Thanks for the compliment Eunice P, though, it is one of the nicest I have ever received, I mean, taking into account my obivous respect for Nedroid.

Oh and Harkovast, you didn't pay attention - this is an extra feature comic. If you simply click back, you are reading only the blog posts with some art (this comic indluded). Click on "home" and you will get to proper Nedroid comics.

MeHighLow - then I have to mark him down for such appallingly bad website design!
If I am on a comic and click back, I should get more comic! I should probably give it another go though now you've explained it to me.

Phillby - OH NO YOU DIDN'T! *Holds up hand and moves head from side to side* Don't be dissin on da stick!

Ozone + Genejoke- Awww thanks!

All I'm sayin is that OoTS is the worst thing ever made by anyone ever, I don't see why you (an obvious fan) would get upset by that!

No Way man!

OoTS rocks harder than an Apple fanboy's cock when a new iphone comes out!

You know it to be true. ;)

OK, you guys, now don't be taking my topic all into OOTS vs. Nedroid waters.

I mean... Is it OK to like both? Cause I do, I read 'em both as soon as they update (and that is not the case with too many other webcomics, lemme tell ya). And how did OOTS get into this discussion anyway? Oh, right, Harkovast, you sly weasel, erm, feline!

Again, Hark, no bad website design going on there, I assure you, I just linked directly to the extra content in the blog posts. If you simply go to nedroid.com , all will be clear as day. ;)

Oh, and OOTS ain't no paragon of good design what with no comic on the main page of giantitp.com and all. ZING! (OK, NOW I'M DOING IT, SEE WHAT YOU GUYS MADE ME DO TO MY TOPIC, DAMN YOU!!!)

My mind is blown at the mere idea of comparing the revolutionary comic brilliance of Nedroid with the boredom laced unfunniness of OotS.

Bffsatan OOTS is the only comic that has managed to make me feel genuinely upset at the death of a character, while simulatenously making very funny forth wall breaking jokes.
Dont be dissing on that kind of genius!
But cause I am a fair man, I will go and read nedroids again and see what i think (and then I will deliberately decide to hate it in order to win this arguement.)

It is physically impossible to like nedroids and OOTS at the same time.
If the two comics ever touch, the universe ends.

I once tried to go from the penny arcade website to Ctrl Alt Delete.

My computer exploded and I died.
