HTML editor not working?

Is the html editor not working? It seems like no matter what I do the thing will NOT change... I can add coding for links and images and they will not appear... Even simply changing the coding for the background gives me no results.

You're using a predefined template, you can't change the code on them, sorry.

Thank you VERY much ^^ It was starting to get frustrating.
Well I managed to get what I wanted added, but in the wrong position.. but at the moment its good enough for me.
