How to post images in forums?

Well, this forum won't let you do attachments. So first you have to upload the picture to a website which hosts images, like photobucket. When you've done that, the site will give you a code that you can paste into forums, it will look something like this:
{img}http://www.photobucket.com/picturelocation.jpg {/img}
(with square brackets instead of curlies)
Generally the 'rule' of forum images is that the image shouldn't be wider than the forum, otherwise it messes up the formatting. So for this forum, about 500 pixels wide would be fine.
Or, if you want to post a bigger picture, photobucket ALSO gives you a 'thumbnail' image and some code you can paste in, so you can post the thumbnail on the forum and when people click it they get the full image.

or use the DD files system on one of your comics even though no one really seems to do that but me.
