Okay I took out the poster image to click, which should solve the "1 per thread" issue...

Okay it should in theory support straight video embed codes from sites like youtube... well actually I only tested it with youtube. If you see any embed codes that do not work (From another provider maybe like google video), post it here and I'll patch it up.
This should make it easier to post videos... just copy/paste the embed code... no need to mess with the tags.

seems like utube changed it's code to where you can just cut and paste it directly

Embeded video seems like one of those ideas that may have sounded better on paper. I've been finding the videos to be more an annoyance than anything else. It takes forever to load any pages with an excess of embeded videos and then on top of that there seems to be some sort of caching issue or something since I can never get more than three or four videos to load on a page, anyway. I'm not too thrilled with waiting 5-10 minutes for a thread to load and then not being able to see what people are talking about, anyway.

I'm already on cable. It's not getting any faster than that. I get an average of about 400k/s download bandwidth. No other site gives me problems of this nature.
As for Flashblock, that's not a possibility. Thanks to some malware I got when using Firefox, the program has become more cumbersome than it's worth. So I'm stuck with IE unless I want to manually set site permissions for every page I go to and run anti-spyware software every time I get online.

Firefox? pshaw! SeaMonkey1.1
That's my browser of choice. Mozilla made and compatible with all the best of Firefox, while being that much nicer to use.
Way nicer than IE. Ew.

I don't have slowdown issues, the videos that show up play just fine and download much faster than they play. I highly doubt I have any issues with RAM since my PC has 2 gigs and is only six months old (with a fairly high end CPU and graphics card). On top of which, my system doesn't get bogged down or use excess resources when the page is loading, so whatever the problem, it's not CPU or RAM intensive.
The issue is that the page takes a while to load for some reason, despite the fact that the videos aren't cached and then when it does load, the videos past the first few don't show up. I get a generic image icon and a box instead.

Heh, I can even render my pages with IE inside of my lovely browser if I so choose. hahahaha, IE can't do ANYTHING... It's like the bog standard model with no special features, and even the normal ones are dodgy...

ozone, don't you know what true love is? it's accepting your loved ones' flaws and embracing them because of the idiosyncracies that make them unique.

Polygamist! IE is married to dozens of women across the country. It starts a family and then heads off to start another, all the while stringing the old wives and kids along with it. Don't trust it and its philandering ways!

IE can't do ANYTHING...
IE can block the malware that keeps creating cookies to spawn popups on my computer without blocking every site I visit. No Mozilla browser, Seamonkey included, can do that. I think for the tiem being, I'll stick with the browser that doesn't sacrifice functionality in the name of security.

Must be nice. It doesn't work for me, and I would be more willing to admit it's something on my end if I had difficulty with any other site. Since my problems seem to be exclusive to Drunk Duck, though, I really can't say that anything on my end isn't working the way it should.
