How to make effects? help plz

so if someone can get me some tutorials or explain me how to make effects for a pokemon comic like when pokemons go out of the pokeball, evolution effect, running effect and others, it will help me a lot. thx

You can accomplish effects like that in both Illustrator and Photoshop if you've got those on hand. I am not that familiar at all with the story of Pokemon enough to tell you any specifics.
Both of the programs above can help you do transparencies and blur motion effects, and there are some really good tutorials on the net for that.
A lot of motion effects can be just hand drawn as well, if you don't have access to any programs that do image editing.

reddragon142, your best bet is to look through some of DD's tutorials and then branch out. Also look at Skullbie's sticky in this forum.

You don't have to use it there's gimp, paint shop pro, paint.net, sai, sketchbook pro, corel painter, manga studio ex, toonworks, sketch studio, pixia, inkscape, etc.
