On myspace, I always get giddy at the hits I get for my comic. I then run and check the ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY section for blogs to see where I rank! I actually got pretty happy that I made it into the top 100 there. I was at least ranked four among webcomics on a particular day among the A & P.
It shouldn't make a difference, still the affirmation is great! I feel like since most of us aren't really syndicated, it's like we're the INDIE films of the comic industry.
I love indie films - so it's still kinda cool whether I get 10 hits or 3,010* (I've never gotten 3,010) but you get the point...LOL!

realy though, can some one explain me the whole ranking/ awards thing? cause there is no point at looking at it if you have no idea how to read it.
But I like comments better^^

I'm going to have to be put into that group of Stats & Comments junkies. I tend to check out the stats page a few times a day. especially if I've just published some fresh pages. I admit I get alittle frustrated when it looks like alot of folks are checking out my comic but I'm not getting any comments, good bad or indifferent. Like others have said in this forum, it shouldn't really matter about your page-views and such, but I can't help it. Sign me up for the support group as well!

I did at first but now I could care less. It doesn't mean they're staying... especially if they see God or angels. It scares them off, I think, lol.

I'd say I check mine at least three times a day. I don't get many visitors though, but I assume that's because I just got here and I don't have that many pages XD. My views usually shoot up when I update, of course. Sadly no one visited yesterday D:
