If you haven't thought about it, that's fine... things do change while you're progressing in your comic work!

However, Billy Learns To Rock is going to be 70 issues/chapters long and Electronic Revolutions The Burnhams is going to be 130 (maybe less) issues/chapters long!

Howabout you?

Enjoy... Las Vegas-y

I think I'm going to basically keep going until people lose interest. Once it becomes pointless or I don't have the time then it'll end. Besides that it could go on for years really.

Welcome to the academy of the 1337. Try not to get fragged.

I currently have 57 chapters of Used Books drawn. (Only 29 of them are uploaded at DD right now.) My chapters are sort of short episodes, about a dozen pages each. I just started drawing a longish story arc (which will take four more chapters) part of a longerish story arc (which will take at least ten). So, I have about 70 chapters total that are either drawn or well-planned, but several/many more future chapters taking form in the back of my mind.

My other project is a webcomic form of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, so that should take roughly nine scenes.

I think Rift will be about 25-30 chapters, give or take. So far each chapter is averaging 50 pages or so.

...I hope I live long enough to finish it.

I'm planning for penis to run daily until 2012. At which point the world ends with the Mayan calender.

Shades consists of a short Prologue, 16 chapters and an epilogue.

When it's finished it should be somewhere between 200 and 250 pages in length. (And, although we only have a tiny portion online at DD so far, behind the scenes we're nearly half-way through. Yay for us!)

The current Superchum stuff I'm doing right now I have split up into single issue self contained stories. And I hope to complete 4 issues worth of material. I have plots and scripts for an ongoing, but I don't want to commit to anything long-term since, well, I've been drawing the Adventures of Superchum for 15 years now. I do have other ideas I want to do dammit!

The first Terran Sandz mini series, One Bad Day, is 4 issues long. The follow up mini, providing I actually produce it, will be 6 issues.

Broken Things will be 4 acts, roughly 100-150 pages each.

Dead is pretty much open-ended. I haven't the foggiest idea where it's going or how long it will last.

Later,

Creator of Terran Sandz and Broken Things , and now Dead . Check 'em out.

Right now I'm planning about 40 chapters total (28 pages + cover each) for PT, including the first and second story arcs. That may change or be adjusted as I go along though. =p

Children at Play: I have the next 3 storyarch planned and the last storyarch planned, but everything between is a jumbled mess, I'm looking at, most likely, another 25-30 100 comic long storyarchs. So, i don't plan on finishing it anytime soon.

Modern Day Witchdoctor is even more up in the air. I have the current chapter planned through completion. I have alot of ideas kicking around for the next chapter. And I have certain things that I want to occur over the course of the entire comic, but none of them are written in stone.

I find if you plan things out too strictly you lose alot of the creativity that occurs when doing things day-to-day. Sometimes you forget to draw a hat in a strip and that makes you realize a storyline that you love that you never would've thought of otherwise.

Wolf will have about 10 chapters. (we're ending chapter 5 now, yay!)

In Session is ongoing, and for the while the educational system grates on my nerves, it will be going on (September is up, so look out for new pages- my students are already returning with several new aggravations!).

Thur and Viera is about 10 chapters, but it is going really slowly.

Sanctuary is also about that long I think, but without Pink to move on the script I am not sure if it will go further than one chapter. :(

So far, I have 7 volumes scripted for MOSAIC. And each volume is roughly 5 chapters - sometimes more (and each chapter about 20 pages, sometimes 2 or 3 more or less). So that's about 35 chapters... But there will be more volumes, 7 is about the halfway point.

We're about a quarter of the way done with chapter 3, for what's online. So if it continues this way, and I keep posting it on DD, we're in for a good few years together.

20 Galaxies is made of twenty parts of varying length. Part One is planned to be 257 page o_o() At the rate I'm drawing this project, it'll take the rest of my life to finish it. So I never have to worry about running out of things to draw - fortunetely the prose version moves along a lot faster, which is what I consider the "real" version of this story.

The Many Misfortunes of Lady Luck isn't divided by chapters, but we're guessing it's going to run somewhere around 300 pages.

story arc 1 will be 128 pages long. i just started writing story arc 2. the total page count for arc 2 is unknown right now but the story is far more complex so it will probablly be twice as long if not longer. i have several more story lines planned and there will also be an over all sub plot that spans several story arcs.

For PYC, there are 5 storyarcs planned. The length of each storyarc might vary.

Bionicle Zeroes hasn't gone through enough development for me to determine a set number of storyarcs yet.

misfas will be somewhere around 20 chapters, if I follow through till the end with it. (kinda depressing since I'm 223 pages in and only on chapter 8... oh well. it'll probably end up around 400-500 pages.

I have no idea!

I know it will have 10 Volumes
But I have no clue how many chapters and issues those volumes will be. Besides the 1st volume which is only 1 chapter and 7 issues.

Then again I could change the # of volumes down the road as well. =P

Instead of coming up with totally new comic ideas I instead think of ways to add all my new ideas into my current comic.
As such I have 3 generations of characters and story I will make my way through.

Hey it's not called a "Legacy" for nothing. The comic will follow the life of 3 generations of Devons. And to top it all off, there are no Devons in my comic at all yet! :o

Hyptosis figures it will take me roughly 100 billion pages to finish the story ^^

Read "The Devon Legacy".

Beauty Into Beast is done, and it was too short for chapters. *shrug*

But I do have other projects coming up, still in rough draft format. One will be roughly ten chapters long, another... depends on what I dream up and decide is cool/funny/dramatic/scary... eh, whatever my mood is.

My little scrapbook "Afterthoughts" (which might be deleted after a while) will go on for as long as I get funny pictures.

Currently, I have plans for 21 chapters. Chapters 6 and up are set to have 25 pages each. Chapters 10, 11, and 21 are comprised of mini-stories that take place inbetween the larger sagas and really only exist to tie up loose ends, introduce new characters, and give the reader a break.

At this point, I have two major sagas planned out, but I don't have any idea what I'm doing after Chapter 21. I do know what has to be resolved, but the journey there has yet to be conceived.

It depends on what gets left open in my second saga. Sometimes, in the process of production, I begin to realize how future events will have to pan out, and in that respect, sometimes these things "write themselves".
