1996 was when I started making comics with the INTENTION of them being webcomics.

But I saw how many problems people were having with Geocities and sites like that so I held out, saved up, and got my own domain name and space in 1997. Figured if I was going to do it I'd do it under my own site.

So the first comic went live in `97, but the art on the first couple issues had `96 dates on them.

Been trying my hand at comics since around 1994 with a strip I came up with called "Get Real!". It was accepted into my high school newsletter in 1996. The artwork was certainly not the greatest and resembled "Doonesbury" far too much for its own good. :\ Still, I had a good time working on it.

The first comics I posted on the internet went up in 1997 or so when I managed to cobble together the funds necessary to purchase a scanner. It was called Aya Hotaru and was generally a "slice of life" comic featuring a young girl and her quirky classmates. Not the most original of ideas, but it was a way to pass the time. These were drawn up in pencil and featured lots of detailed shading done during many a humdrum study hall.

As far as DD goes, I primarily posted drawings on the oekaki board until enough people poked at me to put up an actual strip. XD Orange Mint Menagerie was created in 2003. Unfortunately it wasn't updated nearly as often as I would have liked due to busy periods and long stretches of writer's block/general disenchantment. :\

I only started publishing comics online in January. Anything older than that I deem not worthy of being viewed by people.

Oddly enough, I've been making web-based comics since 1996. I've been making comics since 1980 but I learned HTML and started scanning my pages and putting them online in 1996. Those were my superhero comics (like this one, the finale in that series: http://sabercomix.iwarp.com )

I joined Comic Genesis in 2003 but joined DD just over a week ago.

I first started drawing comics back in seventh grade, two years ago. They were pretty terrible, they were in black and white, the art was really bad, and very few of the jokes were even remotely funny- but I liked making them, and I liked showing them to my friends. I drew them for a few months until I nearly got suspended by them (they were inspired by other webcomics I read at the time, such as Penny Arcade or Ctrl-Alt-Del, and contained a bit of comic violence). I didn't read any other comics for nearly a year, and I scarcely picked up the pen for two years.

But the first time I put comics up on the internet would have to be since February, with Victory Theme. They were the first comics done digitally, so they were the first ones I could put up.

:D
It's a comic!

I've been drawing since I was in 2nd grade really, but I first started showing my drawings off like in 7th grade (3 years ago). If you seen any of my more recent strips, you can sort of see the anime-ness in the eyes of my characters which developed in my drawing skills when I was reading manga.

My first upload on Drunk Duck was sometime in the summer of 2006 (I think, I'm not completely sure), which was a short-lived sprite comic. After I got bored of the sprite comic I left DD for a while, then came back to uploading pages for it. Eventually I deleted and discovered my talent in MS Paint and I've been stuck in Paint ever since.

I started making comics last year when i stumbled upon Comic Book Creator.
http://www.mycomicbookcreator.com/

The 3 comic books I have published on Drunk Duck were created without scripts using just games mainly Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas and BloodRayne 2. Now I want to redue them using 3D.

My one draw back is that I'm not an artist, but a writer. I have tried to draw and I have a few tools to help, like Photoshop CS2, Corel Painter IX, Canvas 8, but my attempts were crap.
I am into 3D, and spent a lot of cash on 3DS Max 9 and I also have Daz Studio as well as Blender.

Since I started creating my own comic books, I have now over 300 titles to work on.

14 Days complete Makeover so it can go on Sale (14 Days was inspired by TV show 24)

Vampire Chronicles a huge list of Comic Books about Vampire & Vampire Hunters/huntress.

Rewriting the history of Dracula, for the 21 century.

Examples: Vampire Chronicles - Dark Lust complete makeover so it can go on Sale

Vampire Chronicles - Dark War

Vampire Chronicles - Origins

Vampire Chronicles - Last Rites

Vampire Chronicles - Evil Unleashed

Vampire Chronicles - Lela & Juraz

Dead Falls (a Western Horror Flick)

Evolved (Comic Book)

Space Wars (an epic comic book of vast proportions)

Reaper

These are just some of the comic books I have lined up.

And I'm now wanting maybe to collaborate with an artist

Eh, Nadya's my first, which means I started almost 3 or 4 weeks ago...

I've been drawing silly stick-figure comics and fan comics since the 4th grade, though.

Nadya- a tale about what happens to SOME of us when we die.

Currently: Nadya is awake and asking more relevant questions.
