way too long than the content requires. I always end up editing and redoing everything over and over. Damn you self-doubt!

A single panel takes me up to three hours to finish, depending on the details and how much coloring/shading I have to do. So a comic page with tons of panels basically takes me all day or all night to finish. Or even a couple of days, if I had to take "breaks" from it for real life.
I'm on hitatus while I redo one of my webcomics. Be sure to check it out when I'n done! :)

I usuall hammer out ten or so pages after I get in from the pub on thursday, Im usually a bit inebreated, so i take my time with them, but my spelling and grammer suffers terribely, they take me about ten to fifteen each. Ususly about conversations or thoughts that happened that week.
then I store them ina big folder for a while, and when it's time to putt up the comics for the next frotnight, I ususlly chose the funnyest 6 of the twenty or so and throw out the rest.

but every thursday though, from 11pm to 2am im usally noodling away on some paper.

as my wife says....i'm a minute man.....

i think the longest i've spent on one page...is about 45 minutes....however...the drawing is sloppy, and definatly somthing i should spend more time on...

i do have some filler coming up that took me 1-1/2 hours per page...except the drummer....thpppp...this will be the third time i'm redrawing it...

read my comic....ninja wedding..

I'm not sure. I think up ideas in my spare time when I'm walking to and from places or trying to get to sleep so when I actually start working on the comic I generally know what I'm doing. EpicA has a big base of existing sprites now so a page where I re-use a lot of things can just take around two hours whereas a page where I'm making a complicated background/new characters can take double that or more. Occasionally pages have taken forever but that's because I've been stuck or drawing something from real life like Abba for the first time that has to look right.

The pen drawn comic I'm working on is a different beast altogether, and it takes a long time, although I'm not sure how long because I work on a lot of pages at once.

If I'm just drawing, it takes about an hour and then 30-40 minutes to do text and clean up. If I'm coloring, add another 2-3 hours to that (so like, 4+ hours total per page).

So, I was reading one of my fav web comics and the author left a comment grumbling about how long it took her to create pages for her comic. She was talking about it taking an hour and a half to edit and add text on the computer and I laughed.

For me, editing and adding text alone takes 2-5 hours (depending on the comic). 5-10 hours in total from the time pencil hit paper to the time I resize to upload...and that's not consecutive hours, I don't count time taken out to eat or clean the litter.

So, how about you? How long on average does each page of you comic take to make?

Same with you; anmywhere from 2-10 hours, uncosecutivly, depending on the page. When I hear people say it only takes them about 2 hours or less, I kind of question my technique XD. Maybe I'm taking so long for nothing?

What am I supposed to say? lol! I'm jealous of anyone whose comic takes under 10 hours to make. It took me over a week to do the latest page, three days of which I worked on it from dawn till dusk.

Takes me about four to five hours per page I'd say, though it tend to be on and off in the evenings between homework and messaging people I know..
It would probably take less time if I didn't make obvious mistakes and then spend ages trying to correct them, but mainly because I'm paint shop pro n00b and have no idea how half the tools work.

I often wish I had more time to spend on my pages though, since they often end up looking very messy because I rush to finish.

A quick page will take less than a day. Complicated and boring pages take several days.

Beware, the more time you have available to spend on your art, the more time you're likely to take doing the same things... It's one of the laws of the universe: The more you get paid, the more expensive things become; the more wardrobe space you have, the more you need; the more power and memory your computer has, the bigger the computer files and more resource demanding the programs.

You can never get ahead for long :(

Slightly less time than eternity, as anyone waiting for my updates can verify.
