How do you open the package for point cards for your console?

I swear... I dread taking home the package for Microsoft Points whenever I buy them. When I get home I have to work hard to get the thing open. I have to work at the thing with garden shears, a machete, then a table saw, a diamond tipped chainsaw, and finally a blowtorch just to get the ing card out!

They come in cards? I just buy mine online.
I'd do that too, but Microsoft has issues with my country of residence.... it's not on their list.

I guess the packaging must be different out here, I've never had any problems.

I have just the same problem.
Remember to be careful when you're opening up hard plastic packaging. They give one hell of a nasty paper cuts. It practically cut one guys thumb of once.
Those were my two cents.

i've seen cards where you scratch off the dealie for the code. and the card is just the card themselves behind the counter.

The PS3 Network Cards don't even come in that damn plastic, they're ready to scratch from the get-go.
Use a boxcutter and cut around the card, 'cause you'll get nowhere if you're just focusing all of yer attention on the edge...
Or you can just go to amazon.com and you'll never need to buy points again since you can simply buy the game itself and they'll just give you the code to download it.

That's why I would love to go to LA Video because their Xbox Live Points are scratch cards.
