Okay you're walking around at a con and there right in front of you is a mega famous comic/webcomic/movie star!
How do you talk to this person and not look like an idiot or an annoying starstruck fan boy/girl maniac?
If the person is a famous webcomic person how do you bring up your webcomic to them? Do you do it at all?
What do you do if the person is a total snob?
going away - Conventions
How do you NOT look like an idiot/totalfan boy or girl in front of the big guys at cons?

You treat them like a normal person. Let them know that you're a big fan, but don't be all oogly.
Also, dont bring your webcomic up to them.

I think some pros enjoy total fanboy/fangirl-ness more than they let on. Y'know...as long as we're not creepy about it.
Also, offer them candy. Perhaps a puppy.

It's been my experience that if they're walking around (and not sitting behind a desk doing signings etc) they would really rather not be bothered, however well-intentioned the fan is. They're trying to enjoy the show.
I've been told that Quentin Tarantino is particularly nasty about being bugged while he's trying to get his nerd on.

just simply be nice. Mention a very specific thing that you realy liked.
Then just politely ask if they have 5 mins to look over your stuff.
so far it worked for me but if I were to see my fav jpop artist Ayumi Hamasaki... Well the whole fun is to act like a total fan girl!

Yeah, I find that just being nice works just fine. I've never been that fanatic of a person myself so I find it hard to wig or freak no matter who I see. But I agree with most everything said here.
A random note I've noticed among con traveling buds: Try not make them shake your hand unless they offer theirs first. It's a thing with cons lately and some people. Not everyone, mind you. But the sheer amount of germs that go around are making stars more and more precautious on the physical front. And one instance of your own dose of con plague will probably make you feel almost the same as them. O_o
This makes me giggle so hard. XD
