How do I remove myself as a comic assistant?

I am assisting many comic, and most of them are not being continued by the authors because they left the site. So i was wondering if there was a way of removing myself as co-author

Forum sig banner sizes for DD are either 250x100 pixels or 480x60 pixels, (and no larger than 70K)

The only way is to contact the authors and get them to remove you as the assistant.
Unfortunately :(
