Ah-HAH!

In case anyone isn't getting it (though by appearances, I seem to be the only one thus far), you can edit your signature in any post you've made by clicking "Edit Signature" and posting the code that Volte6 mentioned (2nd post in this thread with Ozoneocean's fix of using instead of {}) in the window below your comment.

I may be slow, but I'm... well,... slow.

Maybe it would be a good idea to put an official help file with all the codes you can use in your signature in an help page somewhere.

I had been trying to copy the output of the url button, but I couldn't get rid of the url text beside my image. now it's fixed!

I finally got it working. i had to change the image to a jpg instead of a gif. I guess gif files don't work.

Fixed :)

TThe image adress doesn't seem to work well when it has this in it: "-content"
Some problem with DD. I just took it out.

I'm not sure if it's worth keeping this thread stickied. It originated when we were on PHPBB and I think the original posts are confusing people (like to click on the "attach signature" box).

We still have the size rules to tell them about, which wulfsaga has just exceeded :(

The forum sig banner sizes for DD are either 250x100 pixels or 480x60 pixels, and no larger than 70K.
That's the max size for a single banner or a number of banners combined.
