How do I get my avatar to appear?

I uploaded my avatar, and it was under 100x100. For some reason though it won't appear on any of my posts, or in the yellow box on the right side of the screen. Anybody know why?

Was it an animated gif image? If so, perhaps the file size was too large.
Or was it in jpg, gif or png format? You can't have a bmp or swf avatar image.
If the format was right and the file size was around 70kb, then please try uploading again.
