How do I get more involved in the Drunk Duck Community?

I've been a member of DD for awhile now, and I've noticed that there's a community vibe that I'd like to be a part of.(Which may sound silly, I know) I comment on comics, but are there forums that can help you get more involved? What are some good forums to interact with other DDers, and how can you get involved in some of the events that sometimes happen around DD?

Well, General Discussion is one of the most frequently updated parts of the forum, especially the Rant thread there where people continually post about themeslves and general thoughts, pretty much like an interactive Twitter thread.
There's also the Picture thread where people post pics of themselves as intros and also of stuff they did.
There's a Mafia game going- sing-ups currently open in this thread . Later to be played in the Forum Games part of the forum where many people continually participate in a lot of fun little games... those are a good way to get to know people with no commitment.
There's the Comic Review part of the forum where people review various DD comics according to a strict roster...
Tips and Tricks where people seek help with art and stuff and also just post to help out others.
Networking and Community is where people gather to join up for various community projects or just go to ask for a writer or artist to help out on various projects.
Those are all the best places to just jump in and get started doing stuff with people without feeling too awkward and "new guy"ish. They'll also help you get the feel of things in the forum, help make you feel comfortable about joing in elsewhere. :)

I Am The 1337 Master

Three rules:
1. Piss off Admins.
2. Play the Mafia Games. Sign up's in my signature. (this one's less of a joke, you'll probably like it, it's addicting)
3. Become the 1337 Master.
Three real (or at least better) rules:
1. Rant constantly on the Rant thread. It is inside the
2. Be funny. Like really funny. Not like me (or a someone else who is the villian of most people on here but I've never seen do anything wrong...probably just cause I haven't been on long enough). I'm not funny.
3. Friend random people after browsing through tons of comics. No clue how many cool people you can meet on this site. Three I've found randomly by searching around are Alwinbot (great artist and cool guy), Saillestraife (nice to chat with), and Mattboy115 (an...intresting person. took a liking...kissing of my ass on a forum and I absolutely adore his stick men comic)
People who are helpful or just nice:
Product Placement (Seriously a great dude. And everyone on here knows that.)
Skoolmunkee (She's an admin. Very helpful.)
Ozoneocean (Well you just saw. He's an admin too.)
Gillespie (Don't know if he's on hiatus or not but I've had various fun conversations with him. ALSO he's a Canadian I don't offend. But I already have apologized to those two and made ammends.)
Harkovast (He's a British giant cat thing. Nicest guy I know and that goes for off-site too. Helped me realize things with my comic back when I was "beginning".)
I am the 1337 Master (I put myself on this list because I can and I try to be helpful. Also I've forgotten everyone else who should be on here...Blkknight too?)

community projects is a big.. cus your working on ideas.. stories that cross over and are told in more then one place... not only help you meet folks but help readers who like comic x find your comic.. talk to folks... talk to your readers.. like really send them a PQ..and answer them.. send PQ to the writers of comics you like.. . duck has communities inside of communities.. and some that have side branches that go to places like facebook... and deveant art... mostly just jump in and say hi i got an idea... or can you help... or do you like... very few of us bite...
